Comfort in a Secure Place for my Elderly Father

Initially, during the search process, they addressed all of my concerns, and I felt comfortable choosing them because of their reputation in the community. After moving my dad, I found The Landing to be very accommodating to the families. The staff and caregivers were very attentive to the residents. I was comforted by the fact that my dad was safe and well looked after in the memory care unit. They checked in on him quite often and got to know him. I'm Happy Where My Loved One Is

We are overall pleased with our experience with the community. My loved one is being well taken care of here. The staff communication with the family has been pretty good with responding to our questions. Some of the activities available include: outings, trivia, entertainment, movies, and more for the residents to participate in.

tour review

Our family had an in person tour and we had a great tour experience. The day we came the activities director was sick so one of the aids had stepped up and taken over to keep the activities going and we were very impressed with that. The reason we did not pick this community is just because it was farther away

The landing a great place to live

I would recommend this community for a loved one or someone that needs assisted living. They have activities like work outs for the residents, outings and more for the residents to have a good time. They also had games and more for the residents to stay busy in the community. The staff were great and easy to communicate with in regards to my loved one.

Mom Is Well Cared For Here

This is a very nice community. They have good solid care, and they try to accommodate quite well. My loved one loves the food. Some of the activities available are crafts, games, puzzles, and more for the residents to stay engaged with.

Accommodating and friendly

Not only is The Landing community very clean, beautiful, pleasing to the eye and well maintained but the friendliness of the staff members has continued to stand out to us. Their constant help to our family whether its giving us meals when we come to visit or helping us move our loved one in, they have been amazing. From the house keeping to the director they are all just wonderful. Even though our loved one does not always participate in the activities, there is always plenty of opportunities to get involved.

Change Confusion

Two sections in the building; independent assisted living and memory care. Eliminated bulky furniture for easy to move items and storage cube shelves: display and storage bins. Cleaning in MC doesn't happen often enough. Too many faces take care of your loved one. Just 2 choices of meals at each setting. Change of management could mean new personnel.

Our tour experience

Our family was able to have an in person tour and the community was absolutely beautiful, the only reason we did not choose The Landing was because of the long hallways, we wanted something easily accessible for our loved one.

Best Decision I've Made for My Parents

They were great with welcoming my loved ones during the pandemic. The community did a great job with helping my loved ones adjust, getting them involved in activities, and it's a fun environment. Anytime I visit the staff is laughing with the residents. It's like a second home. I'm so glad this is the choice we made.

Highly recommend The Landing of Brighton

We have had no complaints regarding the cleanliness of the community, and the staff members are always saying hi to us when we visit. When it comes to the meals they do offer a variety of choices to pick from, and if you do not like those options they are very accommodating and give you something else. The assisted living folks activities were pretty limited this past year, however the memory care side continued their daily activities as if there was not a pandemic,

Welcoming Staff and Caregivers

This community is awesome and I liked the staff. My loved on was well cared for. The food was delicious for my loved one. The room was private, and beautiful and had it's own private bath. The community has two floors. The community allows cats and my mom was in the hospital and the staff took care of the cat in her absence.

Outside care

we toured this community and like the staff who were able to answer the questions we had. They would not allow additional care to come in. The community was clean and they had activities. We would highly recommend the care of this community to others.

Nice Community Overall

I had a nice tour of this facility. The staff I met was friendly, and nice. The community was well-kept, everything looked good. Everything went well overall. Our only issue was the room they showed us. It was to small for my parents. Unfortunately it was the right fit for us, but my tour went well.

A very good facility

I found the staff to be knowledgeable and caring. It's a lovely environment with responsive staff. My family member has been there for about a month and a half so I'm not ready to give an excellent rating yet. At this point though, I would certainly recommend The Landing to others.

Modern convenience one bedroom has ample closets and just enough kitchen countertop for a single person. Walk-in shower has built-in seat. Service is determined before move-in by two evaluations and accommodation priced a-la-cart per resident. Memory care unit was not shown to us, but discussed where and what happens inside the closed doors. Property is only a couple years old.

Seems to be a great match!

My mother seems to be adjusting well in her new space at The Landing. The selection of rooms they offer is much more affordable than other memory care communities we looked at in the area. We chose a smaller room for my mother. She was overwhelmed with at her previous apartment and seems more comfortable with her more compact room.

Friendly Staff!

I have no complaints about the tour I had for my mother at this community. The staff where very friendly and made sure to give my loved one and I a detailed tour of there very well maintained facility. They had an open floor plan with lots of great amenities for all of the residents to enjoy. It just ended up not being the right location in the end decision for my mom.
