My husband has been at Harmony since [date removed]. I'm very pleased with the care the facility is giving him. I was unable to give him the care he needed. At the time we were in an assisted living facility in Florida. My family is in Virginia, so I searched online and had my daughter visit. She told me there was nothing she did not like about Harmony. I admitted him from Florida, then my daughter and granddaughter came after us and drove all night to get us here. The staff was waiting for us and everything went so smoothly. He likes all of his caregivers but of course he has favorites. [Name removed] makes sure his tv is on the sports channel and they discuss the events. I would highly recommend Harmony at Ironbridge.Reviewed on A Place For Mom
They kept changing the way they did the laundry, which was fine. But 50% of my loved one's clothes just disappeared, even after we tagged them. The food was not very good here. And they really didn't have much meal planning for you if you had needs or preferences off the main stream. I could see they had a lot of activities, but my loved one didn't participate. The management was very good. If you had an ear to management, they would help you out a lot. It's not like they ignored you. For instance, I wanted to put cameras in my loved one's room, and they were very open to that and helped me to get that achieved. Overall, after looking at several places, I'm glad I chose them. The marketing director was very supportive from the beginning to the end. I could run questions by her, and she was very helpful. We ended up needing hospice care, and they helped get that set up. The hospice service they recommend there was excellent. I got to talk to a chaplain once a week, and the home office would call me once a week. The hospice nurse was outstanding. It was like having a sister there.Reviewed on A Place For Mom
I highly recommend it. The staff was engaged with the patients. The rooms could be locked. The staff paid attention to the residents. They went around talking, dancing, singing, and caring for the patients. They had a patient pass, and were down because he passed. The staff was very caring. My dad passed away and I went to the community to help take care of my mom. I was able to see and feel the love of the staff. They called me because my mom fell. The staff is just lovely people. She ate all the food and it was good. The staff commented on the was she was eating. They even gave her a baby doll because she loved children so much. The hospice and staff were wonderful during the passing of my mother. There are still staff members who call and check on my family and I.Reviewed on SeniorAdvisor.com
