The Barrington at Hioaks always has such an eventful activity calendar, there is no time to be bored because there is always something to do! I really like their university classes that they have, it allows people to continue learning no matter their age! They have all kinds of cool partnerships with different museums and colleges!
I recently came to visit my aunt here and I was just taken aback by how friendly and welcoming everyone here was! Then once I sat down with my aunt I was taken aback by everything the offer here, she is never bored because they’re is always so much going on!!
I had a really nice tour here, every room we saw was spacious and clean. They showed off the renovations that were taking place and the pictures of what everything was going to look like. We got a lot of good information from the folder they gave us.
I recently went on a tour here and was blown away with how nice everyone was. Throughout the tour staff and residents would pass us and welcome me to the community. The tour was very informative, they offer a lot of different and amazing amenities that cater to just about everyone’s likes and dislikes!
At first I did not want to move into a retirement community, my children were practically dragging me along to tours. Something about this place just felt different as soon I as came inside, the atmosphere was just so welcoming. Both the staff and other residents were so full of energy that it didn’t feel like just another boring place for old people. Everyone just seemed so happy to be here that I couldn’t wait to live here myself! Moving here has been the best decision of my life!
I really like it here, everyone is just so friendly to me and my family. If I ever need anything I can go right to the front desk and someone is always there ready to help me! The staff just do an amazing job at making me feel right at home. Moving here one of the best decisions I ever made hands down! I tell everyone I know that they need to move here!
Its a great community, I've made amazing friendships with both the other residence and staff.
I recently just came to visit my father in law here and was very impressed with how they were protecting everyone from COVID. While I know that the threat is "over" to some people there is a new strain going around and it is just as deadly. I thin the masks are annoying but I appreciate the staff there doing everything they can to make sure my loved one stays safe and healthy.
Mom really likes it here which of course mean I like it too. She loves all the activities they do daily, each of them are different and cater to a lot of different likes so everyone is entertained. At first she was kind of hesitant in coming to a retirement community but now she is so happy that she moved . They have a beauty salon where you can also get your nails done, they are also adding a massage room to the salon! (I’m jealous) They just put in new dining room furniture that really makes the room so much more classy, the chairs are comfortable and I love the booth they have against one of the walls, really feels like you’re eating in a restaurant!
We chose The Barrington at Hioaks because the community director was awesome and answered all of my questions. The staff members here were all very pleasant and happy. and the cleanliness of the facility. They were not super pushy and they gave me time to think and I really liked that about them. They have checked off all of the boxes and I would recommend them to other families.
I recently toured this building and I think they do a great job of keeping the building nice. Very well maintained with very friendly staff, on the tour everyone would say hello when we passed them in the hall. Some of there staff has been there for about 20 years which really makes me feel good that my dad will have familiar faces taking care of him everyday.
I just recently toured this community and it was a very nice experience. My wife and I are looking for independent living for my mother-in-law, we wanted a building that also had assisted living for the future if necessary and this place does. If she ends up needing more care, she gets to stay in that same apartment too! They have nursing staff on site 24/7 which helped put my wife at ease that someone will always be there to check on her. They offer a lot amenities at no additional charge for assisted living like weekly housekeeping and laundry which also means less work for my mother in law. The have a really nice outdoor gazebo which is perfect for the weather we have been having. It's a very nice place that is well maintained.
I must say I was pleasantly surprised when I toured this facility. Everyone there was so friendly, if we passed someone during our tour they would stop and say hello. It made it feel more personal when I toured there, I didn’t feel like a stranger. I saw the construction plans and what everything is gonna look like and I’m impressed with how modern and elegant everything is going to look. The rooms there are very spacious for the amount of money they are charging. I went looking for my mother who is in a wheelchair and struggles to move around the facility she’s at now but I know that wouldn’t be a problem here.
I had the pleasure of attending their “Taste & Tour Event” I thought the set up was very unique, you would your the building and there were stops where you would taste wine and eat a dish prepared by their chef that went with it. While sipping and eating they would tell you about some of their amenities. I really enjoyed learning about the RUI university program they have, the lady in charge of it seemed super friendly and had great energy. When it comes time for mom to move to a retirement community this will definitely be the one we go with!
I like all of the activities provided and I like how many are offered everyday. All of the staff are very friendly and helpful. It really feels like home.
It's a great community, I've made amazing friendships with both the other residents and the staff.
All of the staff here are so warm and welcoming. As soon as you come in the door people are saying hello and offering their assistance with anything that you may need. Really helped to make this building feel like home!
This building is absolutely breathtaking, filled with super friendly and helpful staff. As soon as you walk in the door everyone is stopping you to say hello and welcome you to the building. They're always willing to answer any questions you may have and help with anything you may need.
When I visited the facility, it immediately felt like home. It is pristine clean and everyone is extremely friendly. I had great desserts when I took a tour and it showed how good the food is at this facility. The staff told me they have been there for more than 10 years which shows me they take care of their staff well and that's where I want my mom to be.
I enjoyed my visit to the Towers. Residents were active and seem to be proud of their community. They were welcoming, and it felt like home. The setting is quiet and private but close to the hospital too.
