If the patient care is as poor as their ability to answer the phone, your loved one is in trouble. We've called regarding patient status 6 times this morning . . . each time we were placed on hold only to be disconnected.

If you have a loved one, do NOT being them here! They don't care about you, and they take forever to answer the call light! The food is disgusting, that I feed my dog better than the food they serve... I'm only here because of a hip replacement, and if I had to be here for a long period of time, and I couldn't handle it! People who stay here, definitely NEED an advocate! Look up reviews before you put someone here!

Lets just say I had a lot of hands on experience with the Convalarium of Dublin. It's a very poorly managed building. Staff are underpaid and not appreciated. Building looks great on the outside and at first glance but when you get down to what is important like having soap, towels without holes, quality employees, good food and comfortable beds they lack big time. Per staff they are understaffed and staffing reports are [removed] to make it look like they provide adequate staff. Therefore you wait long amounts of time for your call light to be answered. The food is awful. It taste super processed. Canned vegetables, fruit cocktail is the main fruit served and kool-aid. The meat is usually unidentifiable and so they put gravy on it to hide it. Also had issues with bugs in my room. Would definitely not come back to this facility.

TERRIBLE! I suggest never - under any circumstances - sending a loved one here. Very poorly managed. The only positive was we worked with 4 employees (out of the entire staff we worked with!) that we felt were good. They won't be there long (overworked and underpaid?). It takes way too long for a call button to be answered. We also felt that many staff members were rude/condescending to both patients and family members.
