Sunrise Review

My Mother is in her third year as a resident in assisted living. She has a one bedroom apt. and enjoys it very much! It’s decorated with her favorite items. The staff is very responsive, caring, and helpful in time of need and special circumstances. The office staff is also very accessible whenever concerns/issues arise with insurance questions, etc. There is always an open door… The ED [name removed] is exceptional dealing with all of her duties, always a smile and clearly has a “servant’s heart”! There is never any doubt for me that my Mom is in the very best place for her!, Thank you also to all of the amazing “worker bees” at Sunrise!... Read more

Review for Sunrise of Fort Worth

I thought sunrise would have been a really nice choice, but they only took one pet and they only had ground floor rooms so anybody could come in through a door and that's really an issue with my loved one.

So far we are Happy with Sunrise. Staff is great. Only improvement would be with dining experience. They sometimes are late serving meals or don't have what residents ordered ahead. What they do well is keep place very clean and are friendly and caring to the residents.

A good community, but could use some improvements

The individual house keeping could use a little bit of improvement and some of the staff members could work on their compassion.

Our tour experience

Our family had an in person tour and we were very impressed, it is all one floor so easily accessible for the residents. The environment seemed to be very friendly. We really liked how they had a welcoming committee so some of the residents would take the new resident under their wings to help them adjust easier and we wish more communities did that.

Tour of Sunrise

Sunrise was very dark and it was too quiet. When we toured the residents were all just sitting around and we did not get a good vibe.

A good place for loved ones

The size of the community and the overall cleanliness of it really stood out to our family. The staff members are extremely friendly and the number of workers there is great, the staff to resident ratio is on point. Unfortunately we do think the activities are still somewhat on hold.

The building was nice. It was like a hotel when you walked in. The fees were too steep for us.

A new adventure

The community is very homey and comfortable. A home-like environment and the staff is very friendly and kind. The food is not very appetizing and really needs to improve but I would recommend this community to others based on my experience.

Sunrise shines

We chose Sunrise of Fort Worth because of the location to family as well as the first impressions walking in. She has been in many places and this one by far seems to be the best. She is in a studio apartment and it is adequate for what she needs. They do personal touches, when she came back recently from struggling with health issues, they were so welcoming and sensitive with her needs and care. We are very happy with Sunrise, they have been very good with my mom and go the extra mile. I would highly recommend to others looking.

Nice facility. The staff are all polite. The hallways are wide, but the ceilings seem low. They can provide 2 person assistance & a Hoyer lift. They can do respite as well.

Very nice place!

We decided on Sunrise for my mil because it was a lovely facility with very friendly staff. [Name removed] was wonderful to work with as was [name removed] the RN who did the assessment. We put a deposit on a room for her the same day. Unfortunately before we could get my mil moved it she declined quickly and we had to go with higher level of skilled nursing and she went on hospice. I know we would have been pleased with Sunrise.

Very Nice, but too Far Away

I toured Sunrise at Fort Worth with my mother, among other communities, and found it to be a very nice place. We both liked it a lot for the vibrancy of the community. The staff is friendly and accommodating, and the residents seem happy as well. Our only complaint is that it was further away from us that we would have like. This would make it a little more difficult to visit and it was this fact that ultimately led us to choose another community.

The Difference is Better

We are very happy and we love the community, we haven't had a my problems. My mom is doing great and I highly recommend them. They have extremely helpful caregivers and they couldn't be any nicer. The nursing staff are great and very caring. Her health and everything has improved, The food is good and she gaining weight. Coming from a place we weren't happy with this community is so much better for her.

Mom's great Care

This is a nice community. The staff are caring and attentive. This is a very clean community with a good enviroment. The menu of the meals are very good but maybe they could work on more variety. I like that they offer her a lot of nice activities to help assist her with participation with the other residents. We would recommend other families to this community for the good benefits of care and value
