I took care of my 87 year mother, who has been diagnosed with Lewy Body Dementia with Parkinson's, until I couldn't take care of her anymore. Harmony Point Memory Care has been a godsend and has made a difference in my mother's life, and in mine, as well. My mother just celebrated being here a year, last week. She is night and day so much better, comfortable, and happier from last year to now. They take care of my mom 100 times better at Harmony Point Memory Care than the lack of care I witnessed her not getting at regular skilled nursing facilities, for which she was in a year prior, and, at the time before she transferred over to here. At Harmony Point Memory Care, the staff and caregivers give my mother such loving and skilled round the clock care. The environment is very clean. The layout feels like you are in a house. They all just love my mom, and they all love me. It feels like a home and family here. It is the first place I have ever felt totally comfortable with my mom being in someone else's care. I don't have to worry at all. That says a lot. Thank you, Harmony Point Memory Care, for taking the load off of me and giving my mom such wonderful loving care each and every day and night, and, for the love and care you give me as her family member, as well. You guys are the best, and I love you all! I highly recommend you to others in need of top notch care.... Read more

Horrible ED name [name removed], she was not only rude but had no business caring for the elderly. The food looked so nasty I would not feed that to a dog. The care staff was so understaffed they all looked unhappy there. This place closed down no. And I know why know.

Response from Harmony Point Memory Care
December 19, 2019Thank you for the review. We are so glad your experience with us has been 5-star!
I do not recommend this facility. Nice enough looking on inside and out. In need of a new director and nurse over patient care. They seem very short staffed but not surprising in this industry. Food not appealing at all. They have a nice court yard but never saw any residents taken out into it.

Response from Harmony Point Memory Care
June 28, 2019We are passionate about being a part of the solution. Because your experience was less than excellent, we hope to discuss this with you directly. Please email us at [removed] to connect you with an executive leadership member.
This used to be a locally owned First Class Facility for loved ones with Alzheimer's. Staff was caring, professional and compassionate. Now it is owned/managed by a corporate entity called Civitas who's main concern is profit. In the three years my mother was there they missed giving her medications (and lied about it), failed to produce documentation of same, had staff members who complained about her incontinence, had carpet stained with feces, lost a brace Rx for fractured wrist, sent her to the wrong hospital, etc. They cheap out on EVERYTHING. Look up at the ceiling when you are in the Commons/Dining area. Note that the paint is on the smoke alarms, light fixtures, wood trim and just about everywhere else it shouldn't be. I realize this type of business has turnover, but theirs doesn't just change - it goes downhill with each new hire. The Executive Director, in the rare times he is present, has the bedside manner of Nurse Ratched. He is arrogant, officious and condescending. And it seems they have no longer have a maintenance person. When we brought our mother here, the first thing we did was the smell test. A+. Now every time we are there, her room reeks of urine and feces. At over $65,000 a year, you can do better elsewhere.

I toured this place and almost moved my Mom in. I liked them a lot and thought the business was run very well. The rooms were very nice with vaulted ceilings and you could even set up a music player so music played throughout. The biggest drawback, however, was that the location was a little odd. It’s in an area where there isn’t a lot of landscaping and it doesn’t have a lot of walking paths, which is something I really wanted for my Mom. There is a small patio in the back, though. The person that gave me the tour was great and was able to answer any questions I had. I also was able to meet the head nurse and I liked him a lot. I really liked everything about the community from what I had read and briefly seen, but ultimately had to decide against it.

Absolutely the best place in this area! If you want to get what you pay for for your loved one, these wonderful people and services go above and beyond pricing, and money can't pay for the heartfelt concern compassion and consideration of your loved one's dignity. I trust these people completely with caring for my aunt! Dementia and Aging can sneak up on a person unexpectedly sometimes leaving a person confused and angry this was my aunt when she moved in, within two days she was bubbly oriented about her surroundings and greeted by and has made friends with many residents and the staff. Small enough place and simple enough activities that keeps the residents engaged and thriving! Rooms are very spacious and honestly the roommate sharing option I believe is a great way to go! Look at no other place if you want safe loving professional living for your loved one!

We knew right away that Harmony Point Memory Care was the perfect place for my dad. The staff is so caring and understanding of my dad's needs. The communication I have with the staff members is excellent. I emailed them one of my concerns that dad can easily get agitated if he is not kept busy, they responded that they had taken care of my worries and let me know he was helping them fill the bird feeders and other little things to keep him busy. There are no complaints about the food and the place is very clean. I would highly recommend Harmony Point to others looking for quality care.

My mother has recently made the move into this community and so far everything is going well for her. The staff have been absolutely wonderful and I am comfortable with the care they are providing. They are always so helpful to my mother and attentive to her needs to the best of there ability. I am impressed to see them getting her engaged and involved in many of the activities and events they have going on throughout the week. Overall it has been a pleasant experience and I would defiantly recommend it to anyone.

I like the care that my husband is receiving from this community. The administration is outstanding. They have had some changes and just recently added more staff. the community is clean and maintained. I like the cleanliness of the community. They offer a nice menu of meals for the residents. I like knowing that he does try and participate in the activities with the other residents. I would recommend this community for many reasons on the great care and value.

Going downhill fast. Constant change in staff. Staff stated they were frequently under staffed with no staff watching residents in common areas. Patients with dirty nails, no shoes on, stained clothes and obviously hair that has not been combed. Activities did not appear to be stimulating. Anyone can toss a balloon across the room. Staff does not appear to be happy with their jobs. That told me all I needed to know. So I will keep looking.

I like the care from this community. The staff are good and they keep me informed on her progress. The community is very clean. I like that she is happy with the meals that are served, they do need some improvements. We hope that they can get some special needs. They offer alot of nice activities that are offered, music, crafts. This is a good commuinty for care for a loved. They offer a set price for her care.

My mother has been at Harmony Point, called Aria, since April 2016. There has been a complete turnover in all management staff in the first 6 months of her living there. Which should tell you something isn't working. The maintenance has declined (had to complain about the feces on the carpet in her room for two weeks), staff will accost you and complain about having to care for your loved one, they have mismanaged her medication and cannot keep track for the services you have already paid. Unless management changes, keep far away from here.

I am happy with the care my wife gets from this community. The staff provide good services and I am able to communicate well with them. I have tried the meals and they are okay to me and my wife has a choice to choose from and they have substitutions. It is a clean community and they maintain my wife's room well.
