We looked at an apartment there and my Uncle thought that was too independent for him at 91. He was concerned with walking to meals. Another facility was just a better fit for him.
Response from Five Star Residences of Noblesville
December 2, 2022Thank you for your honest feedback and especially for considering our Five Star Residences of Noblesville as an option to call home. We understand your desire for a shorter walk to meals. Please know that our assisted living neighborhood is closer to the dining room, that we offer escorts to meals for our assisted living residents, and that we offer a meal delivery option for all our residents. Please reach out to us if we can assist further.

May 6, 2022Thanks for your recommendation Gary. We are pleased that your friends have chosen to call our community home. Thank you for recognizing our team members. We have a great group of individuals that bring their hearts to work daily.
This was our 2nd choice. The community was too far for family to visit our loved one.
Response from Five Star Residences of Noblesville
April 21, 2022T. H. -- thank you for visiting us. We encourage you to return and enjoy a meal or join in on one of our many programs. When you are here we'd be happy to introduce you to other residents and families who will share with you that our warmth and hospitality, as well as our Five Star lifestyle, may make those extra miles seem less important and that we're closer than you think! Please let us know if you'd like to come back for a second visit.
We chose Five Star because I had experience with them as a caregiver, I had worked with other clients at this location. I think in general with any care facility, the ratio of care giver to resident is a concern that I have. My loved one had a fall that was not detected until several hours later.

March 29, 2022Thanks for sharing your observations, and for your five-star review. I am the Executive Director and would welcome a conversation with you about your concerns. Please contact me at the community when you have a few minutes to chat.
Great community didn't like that the independent living wasn't connected to the main building. The main building is smaller than we had anticipated.
Response from Five Star Residences of Noblesville
March 23, 2022Thank you for visiting our community. Our Independent Living residents reside in a neighborhood just a short walk from the main building. Those residents enjoy the best of both worlds, living in their own garden homes -- equipped with full kitchens, patios and garages -- yet enjoy all of the amenities located in the main building such as meals, exercise options, etc. Please let us know if we can be of further assistance and best wishes as you explore senior living options.
The staff are working very hard over there and helping our loved one keep clean, and keep his room tidy. They do a good job keeping their eye out on the residents, always paying close attention to everything. Compared to other communities the meals here are excellent, and they always have activities going on and keeping busy.

September 27, 2021Melissa, thanks for the wonderful feedback. We're honored your family chose Five Star Residences of Noblesville and are thrilled that it has been such a great fit for your loved one!
Three chefs in the past few months. No budget for activities. Something is not working at this community. Would not recommend. It is an unfortunate situation.

January 7, 2020I am the Executive Director and would very much like to speak with you about your comments. Our Lifestyle 360 resident engagement program is very active with a full complement of intellectual, social, physical, emotional, and spiritual programs. While we have had interim Food & Beverage Director in place, I am happy to let you know our new permanent director will be starting soon -- and during this period our management team has worked to ensure that our residents have received the same great service during the transition. Please stop by or give me a call at your earliest convenience -- my door is always open.
Very clean, well organized. Would have liked to sample the food atlunchtime but no offer was made to us. We would willingly have paid for the meal but did not feel we should have had to ask. Perhaps a mistake on our part?

Five Star tour was a great learning experience for [name removed] and I. We learned the terminology of the health care industry. [Name removed] was extremely helpful explaining the facility and gave a very nice tour.

The memory care unit looks and feels like a nursing home, which I don't feel would be a helpful atmosphere. The cottages are nice.

We were very impressed with this facility and the information we received. Not ready yet but will probably pick this assisted living center when ready.

This setting is not the typical institutional feel - it resembles more residential, "home-like" setting. The staff are all friendly but adequate staffing numbers have been an issue of late. The facility is well maintained and very clean. The activities are directed more toward those that are more mobile like the residents of the cottages, rather than the assisted living residents who have more trouble with moving around. The dining room serves from a menu and the food is adequate but challenged with serving hot food, hot...and cold food, cold. It is reasonably priced based on other facilities that we visited.

We arrived unexpectedly early and they were gracious in accommodating us. The environment is homey and comfortable in a laid back manner but clean and spacious in feel. The staff was very friendly and [name removed] was very kind and patient in answering questions.

I toured here while looking for places for my loved one. The thing that stuck out most for me was the bathroom doors here. I don't feel that they are meant for old people. The doors are pocket doors that slide in and out. You have to put your finger into a crevice in order to get it to open, and there really is no easy way to do this. For something so important, they should make it easier for residents to use.

December 15, 2017I am the Executive Director and want to thank you for taking time to provide feedback from your recent tour. Pocket doors allow for privacy without taking up space, provide additional room for walkers and wheelchairs, and are used with safety in mind as they allow care givers to enter a room in the event a resident falls against the door. Please contact us at the community if you have additional questions, and we would be delighted to connect you with residents and family members who can share with you their experiences at our community. We wish you the best as you look at senior living options.
An older facility but beautiful setting with trees away from A very busy road. Light and airy.

This is a nice community for care. We like that the staff is helpful. They need to improve in the house keeping area and some of the improvements were suppose to be taken care of. They allow you to cook on tour own. The community is clean and maintained. We like the cost and the care that is offered here for care.

I have no complaints of how things went for my loved one and I during our tour of this community. The staff where on time to our appointment and made sure to answer any questions we had for them in detail. I like the open floor plan as well as some of the amenities that had for the residents. They just did not have the right apartment that dad was looking for in the end decision.

This place was a really nice facility and had a lot of great features throughout the building, it just felt more of a nursing home in my opinion. They level of care they provided and limitations they had on there residents was way more than my father had needed.

April 20, 2017I am the Executive Director and want to thank you for sharing your impressions of our community. We serve residents with a variety of needs from very independent seniors to those requiring more care and services -- and strive to give every resident the opportunity to be as independent as possible. One of the ways we actively involve residents is with our resident engagement program. Based on the five dimensions of wellness, Lifestyle 360 encompasses a full complement of intellectual, social, physical, emotional, and spiritual programs. Please accept my invitation for your father to participate in a few Lifestyle 360 activities. Feel free to contact me to review the calendar and pick out some that sound intriguing to you. A Place for Mom has scored Five Star Residences of Noblesville 9 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
