My mother has been a resident at Colonial Oaks Memory Care in Arlington, TX since [date removed]. I come quite often-and at different times- and find my mother clean, her room spotless, in the community with caregivers and the Social Activities Director. The staff has become part of our family and treat my mother as such. This particular staff is dedicated to Colonial Oaks and they have all worked there for several years (including the head of nursing, the business manager the activities director, and many of the caregivers) The 2 chefs (sisters who have been at Colonial Oaks for 20 years) are incredible and the food is plentiful, healthy, and tastes like home! The facility hosts several family parties throughout the year and these are precious times with our loved ones. I highly recommend this wonderful place for your loved one should the time come for more trained care.

They are comforting and the staff adopt the residents as their own. [name removed] is amazing to work with!! The staff communication is constant with calls, texts, pictures, and more. They respond immediately to the family's questions and concerns. They have been accommodating to the family's requests. The community works well with hospice and outside agencies. The internal communication is great as well!

Our overall experience was good, and the care was excellent. The facility itself was nice. I just had an issue with their financing. They charge a community fee, which the contract says is refundable in total or in part, yet they have refused to refund any portion of their community fee when my loved one was only there for 19 days. And it also took over a month to get a refund for the prorated amount that we had already paid. Otherwise is was such a good place.

Good community, there was no vacancy.
I would give Revere Court 10 out of 5 stars if I could, it is a great facility. We looked at many other places and it was definitely the best. Our family has been very happy with our experience here.
If possible, I would double the stars...My Aunt has been here over two year, the experience for her has been GREAT!!! The experience for me has been graciously wonderful, the fear and concern of a loved one being taken care of by someone other than yourself, was scary and overwhelming for me. I wanted to be sure that she would be respected and cared for as I would be towards her, the caregivers and staff are very patient, gentle, and kind to and with her. You probably think How would you know; I have cameras in her room, because of the horrible place we were before. I have a calming peace of mind about her care and well-being. I truly feel that it was a BLESSING to have found Revere Court!

Mom has been here four 3 content years. She has received loving, gentle care. They activities are offered daily with fun food and smiles. During these long emergency days the staff went above expectations to keep all safe and sound. To have their constant awareness for safety makes me feel at ease for leaving her there. I can’t say enough about their outstanding job for these special residents.

We are so grateful for such a great place for mom to live. The staff at Revere Court is loving kind and sensitive to the needs of the residents. They were rock stars during the pandemic when loved ones were not allowed in. They worked overtime to maintain the positive atmosphere and consistency for the residents. The caregivers are kind and helpful in dealing with the residents. The staff works hard to have activities and experiences that give the residents something to look forward to each day. We are grateful Mom has such a special place in which to live!

We chose Revere Court because of the location and it is a smaller facility with less residents so there is better care. My brother and sister say that his room size is good for his needs, but I have not been inside. They have just been wonderful and we couldn't say anything more. I would and have recommended them.

We do think the staff are doing a good job keeping this community clean, and they are very friendly. The one problem we do have would be the bathrooms, they are not easily accessible to visitors and residents who are ambulatory. The care services are really good, they are really well trained. The were even able to give my mother and I a COVID test, so we are now allowed to visit our loved one while still social distancing. They have made a huge effort with starting activities up on the weekends. They had a fun crazy sock day. They are doing a good job keeping them engaged. The whole staff is very cohesive, everybody that is there is somewhat cross trained which is very helpful. They are coping very well during this time.

A Place for Mom has scored Colonial Oaks at Arlington 9 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
