July 13, 2023We are very happy to have provided you with such a positive experience!
The tour at Cherry Creek was nice. The people were nice. However, we felt the community was too fancy and more than we wanted to spend. This is the reason we decided to choose another community.

We toured Cherry Creek Retirement Village when searching for an Independent Living facility for our loved one. The facility and tour were both good. However, the facility just didn't have the right feel. The population felt older and not enough energy. Not a good fit for our loved one.

We toured Cherry Creek Retirement Village during our search for Independent Living for our loved one. This facility was overwhelming for my loved one, too big and too far to walk to the eating area. Maybe 10 years ago she would've wanted that kind of vacation environment, but my loved one was looking for cozy family comfort.

The cleanliness is good. Some of the staff has been really good. The food is okay, but they are short staffed. There is a wait, to get serviced for the food. It's an older building, so there has been some issues with hot water/plumbing. The apartment is nice.

I would recommend the facility both for independent and assisted living. They are short staffed which is causing some service issues, but nothing serious- just inconvenient. They have music and other entertainment, holiday, and monthly birthday celebrations, crafts, resident council, hair salon, 24/7 concierge, cleaning, and offer meals.

March 28, 2023Thank you for your kind review. If there's anything further we can do for you, we are happy to help!
The friendliness of the staff members gets a 5+. Even with the staffing struggles that are going on, the staff are extremely helpful. There is a beauty shop there where someone does pedicures and manicures which our loved one is delighted about. The meals are still good (even with the occasional "take-out" meals does to staff shortages.) When it comes to the activities our loved ones comment is "they have things for people just my age! " We have a discount for VA, and we owe our whole experience for learning about a VA supplement to make this move possible to our counselor from A Place For Mom.

March 21, 2023Thank you for your kind review. We are very happy to have provided you with such a positive experience!
Overall, this is a nice place. The Director isn't always as available to answer questions as we need. It took a couple of months to get some small issues resolved, but we got them taken care of. It's a little bit pricey, but comparable to others in the area. Most of the staff is pretty friendly. Housekeeping is weekly and they do a good job. My loved one speaks very highly of the staff and this facility. I would recommend them to family and friends.

Response from Cherry Creek Retirement Village
November 10, 2022Thank you for your kind review. Customer satisfaction is our top priority at Cherry Creek!
This is a good community with good food. I didn't like their payment structure.
We really liked the community and we were on a waiting list. Unfortunately a space didn't come open quickly enough for us.
The staff members when we speak to them over the phone are very friendly, and provide great care. The meals are great according to our loved one, he just hoots and raves about it. They do offer up activities for those who want to participate and be social, we also think the value for money is reasonable.

We went with Cherry Creek because it is a higher acuity level, she is able to live independently with just a little assistance and it is a more positive environment. She has a really nice apartment, it is the biggest size they offer and she has tons of closet space. It was really easy to move all of her stuff into here having that much space. They bring in a lot of entertainment, especially around the holidays. There is a very wide variety of activities for residents to participate in. I would recommend Cherry Creek to others.

Cherry Creek was right up there with the community we chose. And they're actually owned by the same company. Cherry Creek isn't quite as fancy as the one we chose. But I would definitely recommend them also.
I like having a nice apartment with the benefits of having healthcare if it's needed. I feel very safe here. They offer lots of activities, and I am completely satisfied with the value. It's worth the money to us.

One thing I do know is that if you're going into this facility, it's helpful to have a loved one who has affiliation with the military and qualifies for help with the cost. But cleanliness is top notch. The people and staff here are fantastic. My mother enjoys the food very much. It's a really wonderful place. They have so many different things for the residents to do, like bus rides out to the mountains and wonderful movies in a designated area. I can't tell you how much my mother and I appreciate this facility. We've been blessed to find such a great place.

It is a very good value for your money. You should look into it. They have nice people. The residents are friendly and happy. The food seems more to be intuitional than we would like for our loved one. There are some meals that are better than others.

The staff were very friendly, it was a good layout and it was clean, and they decorate nicely for the holidays. It feels homey, but covid threw a wrench into things for her. Overall I would still highly them to others recommend Cherr Creek to others.

A Place for Mom has scored Cherry Creek Retirement Village 9 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
