I would say for the most part we have been pleased. My mom is always clean and wearing clean clothes. Her room is clean and laundry is caught up. We have visited during meals and the food always looks amazing and is healthy. We see lots of fun activities and the staff is good. There have been times we see some of the ladies hugging the residents showing them love and sympathy and making the residents laugh. I have never worried that my mom is safe and being taken care of.... Read more

August 30, 2023Hello customer, We appreciate your positive feedback about your experience at Peakview Assisted Living and Memory Care. We take pride in serving our residents and their families, and if you have any further questions, please let us know.
My loved one was a resident at Peakview Assisted Living and Memory Care and the experience was terrible. Everything across the board was terrible. I would not recommend putting anyone that you love in this facility.

Response from Peakview Assisted Living and Memory Care
June 5, 2023Hi Customer, we are happy to hear about your good experience. We appreciate the positive feedback. We hope you have a great day!
Prior to Peakview, my dad was at [removed] in their skilled nursing facility. [removed] was a horrendous experience on all levels. The staff at Peakview genuinely cared about my father, and most everyone from the front desk to the dining room to the Q Pacs and aides seemed happy to be at work. There was a lot of turnover and management which was somewhat problematic. There were a couple of new aides that weren't sure how to transfer, etc., but that was rectified fairly quickly. If my mother ever needs assisted living care, I would go through Peakview again.

May 9, 2023Hi D, we appreciate your kind words and the time you took out of your day to review us. We hope you have an amazing day!
The food quality is good. The value for the money is fine, but there has been issues with billing. They are doing their best, to work with me. We picked this community, because of the staff, who is very friendly and accomodating. It's clean, and often I walk in and smell fresh baked cookies. It is absolutely beautiful. I would recommend to other families.

March 4, 2023Hi VR, we’re thrilled to get this kind of feedback. Thank you for taking the time to review us. Have a great day!
My mom was only there a short time on Covid lockdown. But under the circumstances, I was happy with how everyone took care of her and watched over her. I would definitely recommend Peakview.

I don't recommend this place, the turn over is bad from the top down. The current Executive Director seems like she doesn’t know what's going on. Communication with the residents and the family is very poor. Keep an eye on your monthly statements. If your family member is complaining about something believe them and ask questions.

September 30, 2022Hi Customer, we’re so happy to hear you had a good experience. Have a wonderful day!
Things to be aware of from our experience: High staff turnover Nursing quality Night staff quality Price increases Leadership Felt like the corporate goal is mostly about making money above all. Nice location and was generally kept clean. It was ever changing at this location because workers were revolving frequently.

I took my mom here because at first it looked clean and everything was new. After a many months of complaining about understaffing, not properly trained caretakers we decided to move my mom. Unfortunately we never got to move her because fell several times (I was not notified) and she died.

This was a nice community. It was too much care for my loved one.
It took over five weeks for the doctor to see my loved one. The person in charge of memory care was let go after dealing with them in getting my loved one's medications set up and it still wasn't completed. I am waiting on a call back from the director and it is going on week two. There are problems at Peakview with communication and some staff members. I would never recommend the community to others. We are looking for a new place for my loved one to move to because of the problems we have had here. [Name removed] is great to work with and is trying to turn things around, she is overwhelmed with the work she has to do.

May 2, 2022Dear Anonymous, we appreciate all feedback because it allows us to evaluate and make changes when and where necessary. Sharing the details of your situation will be very helpful.
I pulled my loved one out after 3 weeks, we were very disappointed in our experience. They did not care for my loved one as they should have been. They did not cater activities to individuals interests of the residents. They were not following any covid social distancing protocols in the memory care unit and 15 out of the 24 residents got it. Right before we left, they got a new nurse and I think she has good potential. I would tell others that the meds are completely separate cost from the levels of care. It is a nice looking facility but is not well run.

My loved ones nurse aids were great and I did not care for the nurse director and the front desk lady was awesome also. We paid a lot extra for our loved ones to not get the care she needed and medications were missed for five days. If you have a fully functioning family member that does not need any care or assistance it will be okay. But if the person needs more care and assistance it is horrible.

The biggest value before COVID was the activities and music. She is a very social , but since COVID the activities stopped, which is so difficult. We chose this community because the location and my mother also was able to decide and she chose it, I would recommend this community. One of the residents during our tour told us that we couldn't find a better place, it was amazing. My mom has made friends and it is a great fit for my mom. My mom loves the food and has gained weight. We have had some frustration with the medication ordering through the in house pharmacy.

Response from Peakview Assisted Living and Memory Care
August 4, 2020Hello Suzi, Thank you for the positive review of Peakview Assisted Living! We are so glad your mom has been happy here. We are disappointed to hear that you believe activities have stopped. It’s just the opposite! We have been having a blast in a safe and physically distanced manner. From “Christmas in July” happy hours to art projects, we are keeping very busy and maintaining a redefined activities schedule. If there is something specific that your mom would like to see take place, please ask her to share with a team member. We are happy to help accommodate any requests that are possible within our current COVID-19 protocols. For any concerns related to medications, please contact the community’s Executive Director directly to discuss the best solution. Thank you!
My mom no longer resides there. I had a very negative which is why I move her. The staff did not follow her doctor request which resulted in endangering her life. I honestly do not believe that you get the care that you pay for. I would not recommend this community. Use caution before you put someone you love into this place and check places out thoroughly.

I toured this facility while looking for a place for my Father. This is a brand new facility and it is just beautiful. The atmosphere here is very warming and positive. From management to the caregivers, they always address the residents by name. They really made it feel more like a family. The facility itself is nice, clean, and has a lot of room. The marketing director who gave us the tour was friendly and honest. Unfortunately, they declined my Father and they did not tell us until we called them. There was just a small communication issue with following up. I would recommend other families to tour this community.

My mom says she is happy being at Peakview. She loves the food and the activities. I think the community is great. The community is very clean and wonderful. The staff are nice too. We picked this community for being newer and having bigger apartments in comparison to other places.

My husband was recently at this community for a short respite stay and I would recommend it to anyone. The staff where friendly and I was comfortable with the care he was provided. He had no complaints about the meals and enjoyed participating in a few of the activities they had available. I would defiantly bring my husband back to this place if he had to another short stay.
