Care Today, Care Tomorrow

Located on a quiet campus of landscaped grounds and gardens in the heart of Texas hill country, you can enjoy everything from personalized care plans and luxury dining to resort-style amenities and an abundance of activities, programs and events without ever leaving the comfort of your new home.

Because we provide assisted living, memory care and skilled nursing and rehabilitation, we’re known as a continuing care retirement community (CRC) and are more than happy to provide you with quality care no matter where life takes you. If your needs ever change while you’re here, we can easily adjust your personalized care plan to accommodate you.

No more worrying about transitioning to a new community and learning new routines and names. Now you can rest easy knowing even if life throws you a curveball, you can continue life as usual without ever skipping a beat.

No matter which community you join, you can expect to enjoy a full and rich life. Fill your schedule with things like yoga classes and bridge club, or gather with friends for a movie night in the common room. Memory care seniors often spend time participating in activities that inspire cognitive retention and social interaction, while skilled nursing and rehabilitation residents alternate between physical activities and soothing recovery.

You will have access to a wide range of amenities and services that may leave you thinking you moved into a resort instead of a continuing care retirement community. A few resident favorites include:
•Spacious and comfortable accommodations designed to feel like home
•On-campus concierge, library, game room and arts and crafts studio
•Personalized care plans designed to meet your specific needs
•Community events calendar with enriching activities, events and programs
•Care team available on campus 24 hours a day, seven days a week

Before you arrive, we’ll work together to create a personalized care plan tailored to meet your specific needs so you can rest easy knowing your needs will be met without ever having to sacrifice your freedom and independence. Because we provide a continuum of care, you can also stay on our campus even if your needs change over time. Transitioning among care levels here is simple and prevents you from dealing with the hassle and stress of a move.

With our care team available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to be alerted to an emergency, or to offer a little extra assistance, you can enjoy fewer worries as you embrace a truly exceptional senior living experience.

  • Visited Brookdale Lakeway with sister [name removed]. Loved the outdoor courtyards and the "hominess" of the facility. Concerned with the large floor plan as afraid my Father would get confused because each floor is so large. The rooms were very large and nice and the views were beautiful. Caregivers really seemed to spend time with the residents. Facility a little older and could be updated a bit.

  • Wonderful People!!

The people at this community have been wonderful to my husband and I since we moved in. The staff have been helpful and have accommodated our needs to the best of there ability. I have no complaints about the food and am enjoying my dinning experience with the other residents as well as the activities throughout the week. Overall we are very pleased and would recommend it to anyone

  • Worst food I've ever seen.

The almost inedible and unwholesome food pretty much tanks this otherwise nice and clean-looking facility. The dining room is constantly, woefully understaffed and the service is poor. But the bottom line is the absolutely terrible food--right down to the inability to execute and serve a simple sandwich. Given the price we're paying for our mom to live there, it is almost inconceivable how they're getting away with it. Someone in senior management must be looting the budget. I have a great deal of restaurant experience and have seen a wide range of food in institutional settings as well. This is like nothing I've seen. It makes the worst hospital food look good. We're looking for another place, which is unfortunate. It won't be a Brookdale.
