It started off well and ended horribly. If your loved one doesn't just sit in front of the television, this isn't the place for them. I heard the staff make homophobic remarks about how a male resident was eating a banana. I watched as the staff played solitaire and shopped online. I saw a male resident sitting in his urine soak sweatpants. I stayed quiet out of fear of them Baker Acting my loved one, which they ended up doing anyway. His disease wasn't easy at the end, which I wholeheartedly acknowledge; however, they didn't even recognize the signs of terminal agitation. He needed...no he deserved love and compassion. Instead he was made out to be a monster. If you are considering this home for your loved one, please reconsider.

I would tell others looking into the facility that you do need to be involved with your loved ones care, you cannot just leave them there. We have had to stay involved to make sure things are going well. They do try hard and I would recommend if your loved one is still pretty active, but not if they need a lot of help.
