My mom really likes the exercise classes. When it comes to the value for cost it is to answer this one as this is my first experience with Assisted Living facilities and my mom does have limited $ savings so it is a bit stressful.

What we like the most about the Atria Walnut Creek community is the overall friendliness of everyone there -- all of the staff members and the residents living there. Based on the experience we have had with this community we have already recommended them to others and will continue to do so.

The staff at Atria Walnut Creek are friendly and wonderful and they make my mom smile. Some of them have worked there for a long time, which is a good sign. I don't have feedback on the food, but they do allow my mom to have two glasses of wine with dinner and she enjoys that greatly. I would recommend this facility to family and friends.

My dad is currently a resident at Atria Walnut Creek and I love it. I don't like the fact that Atria is in the news and there is a review of their License ongoing, but I am impressed overall. I would recommend this facility to family and friends.

My loved one was a resident at Atria Walnut Creek and I visited often. This facility has gone downhill. The staff are very nice. However, the food is terrible and the prices have increased a lot. The cleanliness of the facility is good. The setting is very nice. The rooms and large sitting area are pleasant.

The atmosphere is good at this facility. The staff knows who I am and who I'm there to see when I visit. Communication with the family has been great. Housekeeping is often and my loved one's room is always clean and smells good, they do well. The staff has been very helpful to me here, helping me deal with a loved one who has Dementia. The food is simple and well prepared. I do like that Memory Care is a one stop shop here, it's all inclusive- one price. I would recommend this facility to family and friends.

Our family had an in person tour and we felt the tour experience itself was excellent, but we felt that the memory care side was pushed off to the side and the assisted living side was more of their focus.
I fell in love with the bistro on our tour of Atria Walnut Creek. Other than that, it looked like a decent place.
We made an appointment for a tour with Atria in WC and was able to get in within days; it was such a pleasurable experience from start to finish. From making the appointment to checking in (with all protective covid precautions), to the friendly staff an impressive tour...name removed] was very helpful & professional. She answered all our questions and showed us their amazing facility. Every staff member who passes by was very polite & introduced themself. The facility was spotless and smelled and looked amazing. Lots of amenities for the residents. Prices pretty competitive for this area.

The current Engage Life team is the best since the almost-five years I have been a resident here. The E.L. Director and Instructors care, and it shows. On Memorial Day, a heart-wrenching film was shown followed by one of the E.L. Instructors leading us to the “gallery” of photos of our own U.S. Veterans. Here, she read a very meaningful piece in remembrance of our Veterans. In fact, this year’s was the best memorialization of our Veterans yet. (There have been years when this special holiday has hardly been noticed.) Last week, the E.L. team pulled together (with the help of other staff) a warm gathering to memorialize two recently-deceased favorite pets of all the Residents here. A true-story film, with the Director beginning with a meaningful prayer for the animals. The team served refreshments throughout . Any “piece of this program would have been sufficient, but they went above and beyond and made it over-the-top special. Hats off to this hard-working crew.
This was a nice community. It didn't have the 2 bedroom apartment available when we needed it.
We went with Atria Walnut Creek because the grounds were beautiful and well-kept, they had a big outside area with a fish pond that you can walk around, and nice front porch area where you can sit as well. My friend is in a studio apartment and it is perfectly adequate for his needs. The staff is very cordial, responsive to needs, and receptive to any feedback you may have. He has been here a couple months and is adjusting well. We are very happy with the experience so far.

Our family had an in person tour and the rates were phenomenal and offered a ton of great things. We did not like the bathroom though, its a little more inverted for handicap, so the sink was smaller and just tighter quarters. However all of the staff members were fantastic and very friendly.
Our family had an in person tour and unfortunately the location was just to far away and the studio apartments were to small. Still the community was very clean and it was a really nice tour.
Nice tour. Answered all questions. Overall impressed with the facility.

We chose Atria Walnut Creek because of the cleanliness of the facility and general appearance, the cost, and we got a good feeling from the people as well during our tour. He is in a 1 bedroom and it is a very good size, we also looked at the studios and they are also a great size. They all have balconies which extends the living space as well. He absolutely loves the food, they are chef prepared meals and he really enjoys them. I would absolutely recommend to others looking.

We toured this community and the staff was very nice and the tour was great. The location and layout of the community just didnt fit our needs.
Atria is a wonderful place, but their communication needs improvement. As far as letting the families know about our loved ones. I believe their have pressure and stress on them due to the pandemic. The community is open to feedback. I think the caregivers are pretty good. They have a beautiful community. Our loved one enjoys the food.

A Place for Mom has scored Atria Walnut Creek 8.8 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
