Independent Living
Make the most of life.

At Arbour Square, we believe the secret to healthy aging is staying active and engaged in life. We also understand that every one of our residents has different wants and needs. Through our Tailored Preference program, we work with our residents to create a lifestyle that meets their unique preferences and allows them to stay active and independent - on their terms. From dining options, to fitness programs, to educational opportunities, to social activities and more. Arbour Square will help you customize your experience and help you live an active, engaging life.

Personal Care
Get a little help. Get more out of life.

As a part of our personal care program, residents can spend their time doing what they love while we cover the rest. We take care of meals, housekeeping, prescriptions, and other day-to-day tasks, while residents can enjoy the freedom to socialize, stay active, and pursue their favorite hobbies.

At Arbour Square, we offer a wide variety of fun and engaging activities, ranging from book clubs to fitness classes. Residents can enjoy as much independence as they are able while making new friends, gaining new experiences, and joining peers on our regularly-scheduled outings, such as trips to the city or nearby museum. The extra care and support gives personal care residents the time and energy to do what they love.

We understand that each resident has different preferences or needs. Whether a resident only needs a little extra help with day-to-day tasks, or requires the assistance of an experienced caregiver, we customize our care plans and services to meet the unique needs of each and every one of our residents.

Memory Care
There is still so much to brighten every day.

The smell of rosemary. The feel of yarn running through your fingers. The sound of a crowd's spontaneous laughter. Memory care is at its best when it encourages active experiences. With that in mind, our specially-designed memory care neighborhood promotes safety, security and well-being, while also offering active life-enrichment for those facing Alzheimer's disease or other related dementias.

We've named our life-enrichment Illuminations™. And it can truly brighten everyone's day. Illuminations stimulates the senses and reminds each person that he or she is at the heart of a loving community - a kind of extended family, if you will. It helps create feelings of connection - connection to physical surroundings, connection to community, connection with family, and connection to caregivers. It helps the entire family in just about every way imaginable. And we're here to help in any way we can. So, feel free to give us a call with any questions you may have.

  • Too small apartments and no activities

Toured this community with my husband. Very bright and a lot of places to do things for Mom. Loved the movie theater and the 50’s Diner. They have a bar, which when speaking to a woman who lives at Arbour Square, it caters to the Independent people more than the ones who need assistance. But, when touring saw a lot of people in wheelchairs; using walkers and motorized scooters. One was zipping around the parking lot when we first came in, almost hit him (needs to get him some glasses). The apartments in both the Independent and especially the Assisted Living were small. I don’t know how they could fit two people into a one bedroom in the Assisted Living, especially if one needed more care. Too tight of a fit. They have several 2 bedrooms, but there is a 5 person waiting list. She told us, can’t predict when they would become open. Said for us to move Mom & Dad in these small studio apartments (separate) until a 2 bedroom opened up. That’s insane my parents have been married for over 60 years and never separated. We were not happy with the lack of activities going on during a 2pm tour. It was like a nobody lives here, we saw maybe 12 elderly total, including the man on the scooter that almost ran into our car. I did see more staff, including a couple during a TikTok video shoot in an activity area (only know it was TikTok cause they kept talking about it. I would not recommend Arbour Square.

  • Beautiful community but that’s it

Feels more like a bait and switch senior living community. Arbour Square is beautiful and breathtaking when you walk in the front doors. But, after our tour was displeased with the overall community itself. There was a manager arguing with a elderly person living at the front desk “we are not driving to your doctor’s appointment”, when clearly during our tour we were told transportation to doctor appointments within10 miles were free. Love all of the TV screens showing the activities, but didn’t see any activities going on during our tour. A elder’s family member came out of her Mom’s room and said to our person touring us; that we have been waiting for someone for 15 minutes for help. We did originally come in for a tour on a Sunday, but was told by the front desk, no one was here to show us around, so we had to call for an appointment later in the week. Overall the prices were high ; over $6k, plus levels of care and apartments very small (barely have room to walk around the bed).

  • First impression don’t mean everything.

Over time the energy within Arbour Square disappears. When we first toured this community about a year ago and the first couple of months, the energy within Arbour Square was great. The staff was very fast with answering my Mom’s call button. But over time the response time has been longer and past the so called “5 minute” window. The movie theater, the bar, rooftop deck wow us. But, it seems that that is catering to the Independent people who live here more than my Mom who lives in the assisted living part. I want Mom to go to the diner and the regular restaurant for meals, but the nursing staff (not really nurses - only one shift of an actual LPN on duty and weekends - Never), only take Mom to the 2nd floor dining room. When my Brother or I take her down to those restaurants, she tells us the next day of the other residents who mock her cause she’s in the assisted living part of the community. If your loved one needs assisted living, we would not recommend.
