Anthology was wonderful until they changed management within the last year. It has now become horrible. They are understaffed and use many temporary staff, which are not well trained. I echo the above review concerning Alzheimer's. My husband and I were given many reassurances, but in the end, there were almost daily calls about how they could not handle behaviors. There were vague insinuations that my father in law would be kicked out. We had to change hospice agencies and the new agency informed us that they walked in to him covered in stool and appearing in pain. Both of my in laws were there, but we moved my mother in law due to repeated falls and their requirement that we hire an independent aide. She was not being well cared for. The final straw came when they sent the wrong person to the new facility where we were transferring my mother in law!!! I am so unhappy with the new management. My father in law died and the person who was staffing the memory care unit had no idea that he died (she asked us if we had asked my father in law for his permission before we entered his room to remove his belongings.) We are still waiting for any sort of condolences from the executive director. (He called and asked where we wanted a reimbursement check sent without even a sorry for your loss.) Please don't use this facility for your loved onesReviewed on SeniorAdvisor.com
