Review ofMurano Senior Living
5.0

One of the things that I love about Murano is because it's a high rise, everything is really easy to access. For my loved one, that type of layout is much easier for her to navigate than long hallways would be. It's beautifully appointed. It feels like a cruise ship that just happens to be on land. They're understaffed a little bit, but the staff are really hard working. It doesn't seem to affect things overall - I just worry about how much the staff seem to take on. The food is excellent. They have a set menu that is very healthy, with lots of options for fruits and vegetables. Everything tastes really fresh. They also have daily specials to keep things changing. So there's predictability, but a newness aspect as well. And they're really able to adapt to specific requests. For instance, if you want a hamburger but you're gluten free, there's no problem with them taking things out or accommodating a request. And they don't just give you a sad little burger on a plate. There's a heap of salad to go with it, and they make it look nice. My loved one seems to be really happy there. She's taking art classes and doing music appreciation. She has attended a few of the lectures as well. It' seems like a good value, and I'm very pleased with it.

So far so good. My friend has been quite pleased. The support has been excellent on all levels, not only in the original interaction with the marketing side that went really well, but also with the accounting side. Interaction with them has been great. They've been really good about calling back in a timely manner. And the front desk staff is also very pleasant and caring. Our 95 year old mother needed to move from her independent living unit to an assisted living community. We toured three communities and quickly concluded that The Meridian at Stone Creek would be the best fit for our mom. When we walked in, we were blown away by the lodge-like feel. One of the things that makes this community different besides the beautiful building, is the positive and energetic environment. One resident stopped us to sing the praises of The Meridian. Another family member came up to us to share that his mother loved living there especially because of the caring staff. The resident apartments are spacious. We selected an apartment to reserve; however, we think that mom wants to be on a different floor. The Community Relation Director is working hard to find the perfect location. We are so relieved and excited to find a vibrant community for our mom. We want her to live her best life and are convinced that will happen at The Meridian at Stone Creek.

They're the most friendly staff I've ever experienced. They're so helpful. It tears my eyes to think of all they've done for my loved one. I think everything looks really clean, and they really try to keep an organized, welcoming environment. Cleanliness is important to me, so I pay a lot of attention to that. The food is good, and they have a good variety. The kitchen is kept clean, and the kitchen team is just amazing. Overall they provide a good amount of activities. I think with Covid, things have been a little bit slow, but I can still see the effort to get people out of their rooms. A little bit more activities would be great now that Covid is settling. I understand that it's independent living, but I think there's a lot of opportunity there for even more community events.
