On the positive side: All of the staff that is there is very dedicated and good at what they do. They treated my dad outstandingly and he loves all of the attention that he has gotten from them. Management has been easy to work with and straight forward. On the negative side: The food is not good at all. There are some time periods where they seem to be understaffed - particularly the weekends and evening hours. I know that it is a really hard job and the people they hire are great, there just aren't enough of them. It does kind of have "Disney land" décor which we do not like. My daughter and I were quite pleased our whole experience at Aegis of Greenwood and would recommend it to other families. The facility is lovely and there is an outside area in good weather. The staff are caring and friendly and easy to talk with about the patient. They listen to any concerns I have. I have access to all the management team members and that is comforting. Also, it is easy to have a meal with my husband and the staff helped me when I planned a birthday surprise for my husband.
