Before a resident is accepted, they must go through a service plan screening to assure their needs are going to be met. This screening includes a number of areas of interest such as The service plan must be updated annually and following a significant change in health status, service plan identifies the individual’s specific needs for care, A comprehensive written assessment that that describes prescribed treatments and medications that must be provided to the community prior to admission, and service plan takes into account the preferences and competency of the resident.
