An assisted living community is a residential community which offers support, assistance, and care to medically stable persons who are not in need of skilled nursing support. Assisted living communities commonly offer outings for recreational activity, assistance with transportation and appointments, and supervision of care. In certain instances, communities may offer “aging in place”, Alzheimer’s care, or hospice.
