Assisted living communities offer a sense of community as well as individualized support. Assisted living communities frequently provide assistance with transportation and appointments, outings for organized activity, and aid with the activities of daily life. Staff are required to receive education in a number of subjects. These include: first-aid, resident needs, resident care, and detailed review of the appropriate job description.
