Assisted living communities provide residential living communities and assistance for people who may require a helping hand with things such as bathing or preparing meals. The services offered often include aid with the activities of daily life. Inhabitants may be kept under monitoring and assessment. This type of community is required to have a staff member on duty 24 hours a day. There must be one toilet for every 1 residents and one bath or shower for every 1 residents.
