The Village at Gleannloch Farms Continuous Care Retirement Community The Village at Gleannloch Farms (VGF) is located in Spring, Texas, just North of Houston. We have been open since 2009, but our owner, Lutheran Social Services of the South, Inc., has been serving Texas since the late 1840’s! We are a non-profit faith based community where we have Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Support and Skilled Nursing. We are a 5 Star Quality Community, and our Assisted Living and Memory Support were given zero deficiencies in our 2011 DAD’s survey.

We have 30 Assisted Living apartments with large bathrooms, bedrooms and closets. Each apartment has a small kitchenette; though most of our residents enjoy three meals each day in our dining where we offer chef prepared meals, and “any time” meal service.

Our Memory Support neighborhood offers 18 private apartments with ample storage and large bedrooms and bathrooms. We have a nurse on duty 24/7 and we offer an inter-active activity program which deters difficult behaviors and adds to our residents quality of life.

We have a very unusual Skilled Nursing community as all of our skilled rooms are private and we only have 35 residents! This intimate size offers a comfortable lifestyle for our residents needing 24 hour nursing care. We offer Medicare services including in-house therapies and private pay skilled care.

Our Independent Living Community offers luxurious one and two bedroom apartments as well as beautiful cottage/patio homes with attached garages. This portion of our community is a “buy-in” which benefits our residents both today and in the future. Your funds will be there for your family and your healthcare will always be available. Our residents enjoy a heated outdoor swimming pool, beautiful grounds, walking trails, transportation, meals, housekeeping and an in-house wellness program. We keep active with activities you’ve always done such as bike riding, golf, tennis, music programs.
