It's been a good experience for my parents.
It's a hard time of life, but the staff have been extremely consciousness.

It's been a good experience for my parents.

Bad Leadership
This assisted living home is an utter chaos and the people living there are suffering. The executive Director is a monster. She ran off the old executive Director and propped herself up for the position. She ran off the chef who really cared about the people. The next chef left after working two days because she is such a monster. The food is in chaos and the people hate it. She ran off the medical Director who was working hard and doing a good job. She over works people and then yells and screams at them. I would not go there for anything.

A great place for my mom
The community is very comfortable, and homey feeling.
It was the community I liked the best and the cost was more affordable than others. They were always very kind to our family.
The room sizes were pretty good and comfortable.
I would definitely recommend this community

An older facility with lots of wear and tear, but an incredibly nice team of managers and caregivers. They are in process of renovating rooms and shared spaces. Not a lot of amenities but a loving environment.

The facility is in quiet location, the inside of the building is dated with the flowery wallpaper and old carpeting. They are working on updated and renovating the inside. Saw lots of residents walking to the dining room for lunch. The lunchroom is bright and the staff seemed friendly and caring to residents.
Has a large, bright reserved Respite Room with a sitting room and fridge, microwave. No deposit required for reserving Respite room.

I regret having placed my mother in this facility. What seemed like a compassionate and dedicated facility soon dissipated. Poor care, lack of respect, and lack of professional help are just a few of the negative feelings i have for this place. Sadly, I learned my lesson the hard way.
Do not trust Legacy to give your loved one the proper and loving care they so deserve.

Very pleased
Great community for a loved one. The staff here bend over backwards to accommodate residents. Leadership is very compassionate and caring-- The admissions director, [name removed], is outstanding in communicating and understanding of the stress involved when placing a loved one in a new environment. Lots of positive energy here. Great location for family to visit and maybe relax outside under the covered porch or go for an outing.

RUN! RUN FAR AWAY ... As fast as you can!!
They'll be very nice to you when your are looking to move in, but then they forget all the promises they made!
Infested with mice!
Elevators, window sills, blinds, dining room floor- FILTHY!
Medical personnel cannot administer meds properly!
If your loved one can't figure out their own meds, YOU better be there to watch that the med staff pays attention. The staff is usually busy texting instead of doing their jobs!
Activities are designed for the dead not the living!
Food is horrid! Meals are boring!
Families are NEVER, EVER invited to anything... just to pay the bill and not be listened to. Too much of a bother!
Constantly UNDER STAFFED!
It's very obvious the administration doesn't care, is estranged from the residents, and hides in the office, IF they happen to be in the building!
LOTS of better places... ANY PLACE is better!
GO ELSEWHERE! RUN!!!
If you truly LOVE your LOVED ONE, find them a place that CARES!!

Unhappy and hungry...
Read "miserable" again and again! They cover very well what does and does not go on here. The one thing that was missed was the lack of food. Two months ago our food choices were cut by more than a half. The quality of the food borders on garbage, lunch entrees of nothing more than soup and at dinner cold sandwiches. Staff claims they do not have enough money for food. Even serving size has been cut back by at least one-third. Most of the residents, including myself, go to bed hungry. Read "miserable" again and run for your life!

MISERABLE!
Management hides in their offices or is gone. They were SO bubbly, friendly and nice to us BEFORE we moved in, but then once we were in, they completely ignored us except to send us a monthly bill. VERY BORING activities. No family involvement or activities are ever encouraged. Marginal meals. Drastically understaffed, poor attitudes, with NO time to spend with residents on QUALITY of their life. Management and staff just did NOT CARE about residents or their families! Med mix ups and ordering issues. Residents were ALWAYS bored, wandering, sitting ignored and lifeless. Turnover of staff was constant. Care was FAR less than promised- even the very basics were neglected. Lacks professionalism and warmth. Needs a real good cleaning! Our father hated every minute he was there. WE ARE THRILLED, DELIGHTED, & 100% GLAD TO BE GONE! RUN! Look elsewhere!

Wonderful home
The staff is very caring and friendly. My mother in law loves the food and the people. The Legacy has a very homey atmosphere and her living quarters were the largest of any of the other assisted living situations she visited. She has a small kitchen, large enough to accommodate a small table, sitting area and separate bedroom with bathroom attached.
My mother in law has had issues in adjusting to her new living situation and the staff has been supportive and proactive in making this transition work for her. The staff is approachable, helpful, patient and show that they care. Really glad we moved my mother in law to the Legacy, Couldn't be more pleased with the choice.
