When I first moved in here, they had lost their food service, and they have now gotten a new chef and he is doing an outstanding job. The maintenance staff here is outstanding as well; always on call, always friendly, the will fulfill any need you have. I have nothing but the best to say about them.

Deceptive Advertising
We have been here almost 3 years. The tenants above is 55plus Mom & 2 sons 18 & 20 in one bedroom. CHCC doesn’t follow the law re occupancy. I was not told YOUTH is acceptable and they rumble. Right now & thru Xmas $900 worth of US MAIL packages have been stolen addressed to us. Others yes 1 package stolen from many. We feel the perp likes our stuff and won’t stop. Landlord & police are aware. We want to sue landlord but not before we find another place. Why not locate perp and arrest and evict ?

Very poor laundry facilities. Family capacity here 167 apartments. The number of washers and dryers on site 12 or less. That includes both

BEWARE BEDBUGS
WATCH OUT FOR TONS OF BEDBUGS ON ALMOST ALL OF THE FLOORS. I SEE A COMPANY THAT CLEANS THERE THAT CLEANS UP [Removed] SCENES, THAT COMPANY IS ALWAYS FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL, BUT THEY CAN ONLY DO SO MUCH.

Wonderful place!
Summer Hill Apartments is a very nice place, I am very pleased with it! The staff here were very friendly and very helpful throughout the whole process. They gave me all sorts of information during the tour, and had answers for any questions I asked them. After I moved in they provided me with all sorts of information on local services, programs, and discounts as well!
The facility itself is lovely, it is clean and well kept, and the grounds are well maintained. The apartments are nice as well, they have plenty of closet space, and big windows that make the inside feel bright and airy. I'm very happy here, this is more than an apartment, it is my home!

Couldn't Ask For More!
My dad has been living here for 11 years; he will be 101 this year. He moved in after my mom passed away. This has been and continues to be a wonderful place for him to live. The apartments are comfortable and inviting, the staff is always available and pleasant, the building and property is well maintained and cared for and all at a very reasonable price! Everyone seems to look out for each other and are very friendly and caring. I have met many wonderful people who live here. I highly recommend Summer Hill Apartments for anyone who is looking for a safe, clean, friendly and reasonably priced place to live.

My husband and I have been here for a couple of weeks. The apartments seem adequate. The rooms are nice for what they offer. The staff is friendly and responsive. If you have any concerns they will address it. Generally I will give them a favorable review. It's very clean. Everyone is nice.

Big Bedbug Problem
I lived here several years ago, and I still have friends that live here, which is why I feel the need to say something. When I first moved in I thought it was a HUD development. it was not, I believe had it been a HUD development it would have been much better. In 2011 when I moved out, they had an infestation of bed bugs. They told me at the time that they had never had them before, which was not true, they had records of having them in 2010. I have friends that are here, and they have them still, and it's almost 2015. At the time when I was there the supervisor was instructed to get rid of them and went to a week long training, and they still can't get them under control. I think they have changed management since then, and it is still an issue. This needs to be handled.

I like these apartments for my mother...
I like these apartments for my mother. The waiting list only took 2 months and the price is affordable. I love that they have transportation available and a beauty salon on site. The apartments are clean. The bathroom size is quite large which makes it navigatable for an older person . My Mom is 89. Most everyone who lives there are very friendly and helpful.

Great Place!
Summer Hill has been a great place. It is a good fit for me. It is very clean, and the property is nice -- well kept and inviting. It is a little bit small and cramped, but the people are great and the staff is very friendly. Definitely a wonderful place to live!

They were very professional, accommodating, and very helpful.
We were very happy. They were very professional, accommodating, and very helpful. It looks all very inviting, from the inside and outside, and is well kept up. They have calendar and the county shuttle bus, to get out shopping. They have some religious services onsite. Many of the residents have cars, some are 55-60 and still working, some are 90-100, so there is a wide range of residents. You can order a meal for about 10-12$.

a nice place to live
this is not a senior care facility........it is senior housing for people 55 yrs old and up
you have your own apartment and take care of yourself. Many conveniences are inside the buildings.........laundry, beauty parlor, mail, garbage, recycle. Docs are available on the pemises on certain days, there are activities available to participate in if you like. Staff is wonderful! and the tenants seem to really care about each other and are very freindly. The senior bus comes every day to take you to wherever it goes. Place is very clean and well taken care of. My husband and I are very happy here
