About Lynette's Retirement Home and B&B
At Lynette’s BNB Services, we assist our clients in regaining their independence in a dignified way.
We understand that optimum health requires the mind, physical body and spirit to be in balance.
Every day we provide compassionate care to someone’s Mom or Dad, Son or Daughter, and we do so with the utmost respect, one individual at a time.
First and foremost, we wish to thank you all for choosing to join us at our newly renovated 19th century home.
You’ll love our place because of the location, which is very close to downtown, yet surrounded by green space. The high ceilings and spacious bedrooms! The newly renovated and fully equipped kitchen, the massive dining room and the living room. Everything is clean and luxurious. This is a perfect place for couples, business travelers, families, and their furry friends. (Dogs).
19th century stone home with lots of character is one of a kind! With over 2,500 sq-ft of space. The room comes with a single queen size bed but we have an available "luxury" queen size air mattress which is available upon request.
We provide you with outstanding overall value, convenience to attractions and activities, free Wi-Fi, pet friendliness and accommodating your whole family! If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me!
Guests have access to their private room and all common areas (washrooms, kitchen, living room, dining room, etc.) The main washroom is spacious and features a large claw tub. Laundry services are available upon request.
I am at home most of the time so I am nearly always available. I enjoy socializing with our guests when they reach out but I'm also happy to give them their space! Above all, we are just happy to have you here. :)
Very central location: 20-minute walk to the beautiful Byward market, 15-minute walk to Ottawa U (thanks to the brand-new pedestrian bridge), and a 5-minute drive or bus ride to downtown Ottawa.
There are many nature paths at our doorstep for those who enjoy a run along the Rideau Canal, or dog walking. There are also professional public tennis courts (owned by the NCC) which are nearly always available for use.
The are many great shops, malls, restaurants and other spots all around the location and public transit is easily accessible, too.
Lots of public transportation, Buss, Uber/Taxis, walking/running/bike paths along the Ottawa River, which are beautiful year-round, and a brand-new pedestrian bridge that links to Sandy Hill, right next to Ottawa U. Not too far from Le Cordon Blue Ottawa Culinary Arts Institute.
