Happy with our choice
The facility staff are very approachable and quick to respond to questions and concerns. They made the choice very easy and my father in law is very settled there.
The need to make sure that if the head chef goes on vacation, every one else in the kitchen can cook to the same high standard. That did not happen recently and for three weeks there was no breakfast, lunch was hit and miss and dinner was often ordered in. Plus one cook, who was well liked by staff and residents quit because she was refused promotion yet could do the job standing on her head.

We chose Luxstone Senior Living because it is a smaller facility and not as fancy as some others which fit my mother in law better. The apartment sizes are perfect for her needs. I would recommend to others who are looking.

Very impressed with this facitlity and the people who work there
I moved my mother in law who is 94 into Luxstone and it was one very good decision. [Name removed], helped us so much and the workers there are all so friendly and helpful.
The food is very good, and lots to eat, as they had us try the food for lunch and have been back since and always a good meal served with a smile
The people who live there are very friendly and my MIL fit right in and made friends very quickly
The pricing is very reasonable, food excellent, lots of activities , very clean and spacious and you don't have to get up a set time for breakfast as they have a breakfast room with all kinds of food u can make yourself when ready
Lunch is the big meal which my MIL being german really liked and she goes to the casino and for shopping and does knitting with a room full of all kinds of wool to create a project.
Compared to my Mom's place , this one is much more helpful if there are medical problems with a doctor who visits weekly and if sick they will take a tray up to u and
they don't ask u to leave if u have small medical problems which many will ask u to leave
They are very thoughtful and keep a room with furniture that people leave and anyone can take any they need to furnish their unit
I am very confident that my MIL is being well looked after and she is having a happy and safe life in Luxstone
Very decently priced for all the features u receive I highly recommend it, and go check it out and see [name removed], she will show u everything and explain
The complex is very clean an I think it was recently renovated and has lots of visitor parking

A friendly environment, the apartment we visited have a great layout without carpet which we really liked. We had a pleasant tour and enjoyed seeing people living in the building.

Worn and tired.
Manager was very friendly and informative. On our tour we found the building to appear old and worn. The carpet which was a gray colour, we later learned upon touring a room had originally been green and could be seen where the furniture had been moved. Upon passing the laundry room we could smell mold.
The halls are very long and very dark giving it a dreary atmosphere.
This could be a very good place however it is our feeling that if the building itself is not being loved, what about the people?

Luxstone Manor Highly Recommended
The Luxstone Manor is a wonderful place. The staff are courteous and friendly, and the facility is very clean . The meals are home cooked and nutritious.
They took my mom in last minute and accommodated all her needs in a loving and professional manner.
I would highly recommend this assisted living facility.

Great Facility.
Luxton Manor is a great facility. The food is very good. The staff if very caring. When you walk into the facility it has a warm and inviting spirit there. The care services they provide are great. We highly recommend this facility to others.
