A member of the Sunrise Senior Living community, Virginia Beach Estates offers Alzheimer's and Dementia Care for the Memory Impaired in a warm, home-like atmosphere. Our residents enjoy a variety of activities, delicious, healthy meals and daily assistance with their personal care and medications. We offer both private and companion suites which include housekeeping and laundry, visits by our Wellness Nurse, and individualized care plans. Our secured community features 2 enclosed outdoor areas where residents can enjoy the walking path or visit with their families on the patio. We don't believe in confining our residents to a small, locked unit so we have designed an entire community to meet their needs. Families, especially children, are always welcome and our residents enjoy hosting Family Night each month when we come together to enjoy time with our extended family. We also believe in the therapeutic benefits of pets offering a house dog, cat, bird, and aquarium as well. Music fills our community whether its from our old-time juke box, a visiting choir or school children from a local school. We also provide family support, Respite stays, enhanced levels of care as well as end of life care with Hospice. We look forward to working with your family!
