Calgary Home Care Services: Calgary Elder Care provides non-medical, in-home care services in Calgary and surrounding areas. Our mission is to provide peace of mind for our elderly/disabled and their families by helping them age gracefully in their own homes. We understand there may come a time when you are struggling to provide care for a loved one. We also understand this can be an overwhelming, confusing and even stressful time for you and your family. Calgary Elder Care was created to provide solutions for people like you; to help guide, plan, and allow your loved one to age gracefully. Care at home is an option for long-term or short-term care. Most seniors want to age in place — at home. Home is a place of familiarity, comfort, memories, emotional and physical associations. However, to keep a loved one safe at home, it requires planning and evaluation. Home care is most commonly presented as a service to assist aging seniors, but it is a valuable resource when a person of any age has an injury, accident or surgery, or is suffering from a chronic illness. Our full list of services: -Dementia Care / Alzheimer's Care -Parkinson's Care -Post Hospitalization / Surgery Recovery Care -Palliative / End of Life Care -Respite Care -Senior Care Management -Ambulation, Transfers & Exercise -Companionship -Activities of Daily Living -Household Tasks -Meal Preparation -Medication Management -Personal Care Services Calgary Elder Care offers a complimentary assessment with one of our Registered Nurses to determine what your exact needs are. A care plan will then be created specifically for you or your loved one. Our Registered Nurses will stay in contact with you ensuring your care plan is current and offering everything necessary to make sure your medical needs are being looked after, but also ensuring quality of life and enjoyment of life is being maintained. Calgary Elder Care has a three hour minimum per shift, but we have no contracts. This means we are completely flexible - you are not locked in to anything. Your schedule of care can be adjusted (increased, decreased, or even stopped) at any time.

My mother-in-law made a wonderful transition into her new
home. Thank you again so much for all your help. You made
our transition smooth. Your service was most helpful.
I think if it had not been for you, we may have given
up. You helped us through that rough spot. I see the
weight of the world lifted off of my husband's shoulders now that
he sees his mother is being well taken care of."
