We are very happy that our parents are in this beautiful facility. They are well cared for and the staff are all very kind. The property looks like a resort with the pool and outdoor spaces. The activity schedule is amazing. They have something on the calendar for everyone. The bus service they offer for church, grocery store, Walmart, etc. is an added bonus. We could not be more pleased!... Read more

We made a great decision moving to The Phoenix at Braselton. We don't miss the responsibility of managing a home and all the costs that go with it. We sold our home, put the money in a CD at 5 percent interest. That plus the cost of maintaining a house just about makes up the cost of living here - much less than we thought.

When we were looking, the director was ( and still is) extremely prompt in his replies to questions. I really appreciate that. We are VERY grateful for the Phoenix at Braselton. It's been great for my sister, and the location is wonderful- the facility is near medical care, pharmacies, grocery stores, vet, dentist. Most everything she needs is within a short distance. It's so much better having a community of friends rather than being lonely living alone.

We like The Phoenix a lot. We like the property. It's clean and a very nice place to live, with good neighbors. The staff seems a little disorganized. It's a little pricey but has been a good experience overall.

Our family had an in person tour and this was actually our top choice - it was closer in location for our family, everything was very nice and the value was right on par with another community.
I would recommend the community to others for their loved ones. This is a clean, safe community for my loved one. The one complaint my loved one has in the food. It takes too long to get served and the food isn't tasty to them. The staff have been good to work with if we have questions or concerns. [Name removed] has been A+ and has been able to assist the residents with their technology concerns.

One of the things I really liked about The Phoenix at Braselton was the fact that assisted living and independent living residents were together so it kind of brought life to the facility. The apartments are separate, but they still congregate in the same areas. The room sizes are excellent compared to other places that we were looking into. I would highly recommend the facility to others.

I chose The Phoenix because it just looked like the best place for the value and it is close to my son. Up until this week there were no activities, but it looks like we are back in full swing and there are more things than I could ever attend. The apartment I have is 810 square feet, it is spacious for one person. My apartment gets sun all day long and I loved that aspect because the sun makes me feel happier. I would recommend them to other looking.

Coming from Pennsylvania and compared to other retirement communities, the value for the cost is good here. There are no activities at the moment due to Covid and the kitchen is understaffed. I don't blame the community for those things as they have been directly effected by the politicians in D.C. Despite those things, this place feels like home and a few people I know have moved in from my recommendation.

The experience so far has been very good, the community is very clean and the staff members are friendly. From what we can see they offer a big variety of activities for the residents who are interested. It is expensive but compared to the other places in the area we looked it, the value is pretty good. Our loved one has a good size apartment with a separate living space. Our only complaint right now is with the quality of the meals. We are not sure if it is a supply shortage or they are having trouble finding good kitchen staff but the meals right now are below par.

A Place for Mom has scored The Phoenix at Braselton 9 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
