March 13, 2023Thank you for your kind words!
After my father left the house at 3 am and walked down the street and woke a neighbor, my Mom was ready. We brought him to the hospital which was an awful experience. I called a Place for Mom who gave me five assisted living referrals. The Lighthouse at Lincoln was at the top of their list. My sister visited two facilities the next day, Lighthouse being one of them, and said Lighthouse was the place. [name removed] and I believe the head nurse visited my father in the hospital the next day. My Mom and another sister felt good about their evaluation of my father. My Mom agreed that Lighthouse sounded like the best place. My father was picked up within a day. The transition went very smoothly. My Mom was treated with respect and understanding. My father has been there three months now. We have been very impressed with my father's room, the food, the programs and especially his care. The nurses and nursing assistants have been great. My Mom doesn't worry anymore. He is in good hands.

Response from The Lighthouse at Lincoln
February 8, 2023Thank you for your five-star review, Steven! Providing residents and their families with the highest quality of care and supporting them as they thrive at Lighthouse is our main goal. We are so happy to hear of your experience and appreciate you sharing this feedback.
After a hospital stay, they acted like they didn't want my loved one to come back. Also no management stays past 5pm, period. Rooms are size of a shoe box. They are also not good at communicating, which goes to overseeing mother company upper management- attitude galore. My loved one was also being placed- during Meal times- with more advanced, non verbal, swallowing issues patients coughing spitting of food ect. He has the Dementia that makes him aware he's sick- so he was sitting there like this is going to me... no one on his level and they refused to move him.

Response from The Lighthouse at Lincoln
January 9, 2023Ours is a community that specializes in dementia so we are sorry that you found our residence to be of higher acuity than your loved one. One of the challenging things about caring for people with dementia is that it is a changing disease, with varying symptoms, and we apologize if you found that upsetting. Our apartments are purposely smaller scale because larger spaces can be overwhelming for some residents; it sounds as if it was not an appropriate setting for your loved one. We wish you and your family the best of luck.
They were able to get our loved one settled nicely in regards to the medication so we appreciated that they paid attention to what she needed. Based on our experience with The Lighthouse we would recommend this community to other families.

July 19, 2022Thank you for your feedback and your five-star review!
I loved it. My husband was there for two weeks, and he had been to other places, so I had things to compare them with. They were very friendly and very helpful. They were also very well trained and very cooperative with the fact that my loved one was going downhill in his disease progression. Even after he left, the people were very friendly and outgoing, and they were helpful to me in clearing up all of his situations. Compared to the other places he had been, I would rank The Lighthouse at Lincoln the highest.

Not a safe place if your loved one is a fall hazard. My mom fell numerous times and the staff didn't even review their safety procedures.

December 15, 2021We are so sorry that your mom fell. Unfortunately, falling is a very common issue among seniors. We work incredibly hard to keep our residents safe every day. Rest assured that our procedures are reviewed on a regular basis, and we do everything we can to make sure these things don’t occur
We chose The Lighthouse because it was covid free at the time and we needed placement quickly. She has not been out of the facility since she has been here, they do not have many activities for the residents. It is hard to rate these during covid because it may be completely different otherwise, but overall I would recommend.

April 21, 2021Thank you, Steven, for sharing! We're thrilled that your aunt has enjoyed her home in our community, as our residents safety, comfort and happiness are paramount. Thank you again for taking the time to leave a review.
I was very impressed by the actual physical appearance of The Lighthouse Inn facility. Materials used were high end, with a light/bright appeal. However when I took into account the fees at this facility it was clear there was a premium cost to accompany the appeal. Their all inclusive fee, was not quite "all" and I could imagine that any long term stay could become very pricey. If appearance is key to your selection then this facility would suit you/your family member well.

April 21, 2021Thank you for your feedback. We hope you will reach back out to our Sales Director to learn more about our pricing structure and all the various benefits, programs, care, etc. included. We wish you well!
The place was spotless. Everything is bright, clean, and cheerful. The food is so good, his ankles used to be puffy, but after eating the fresh food that the chef prepares at lighthouse, they have gone down dramatically. His laundry is done individually and everything is put back into place. Since COVID, they are doing outside visits with friends and family, they provide shields and masks for the residents. They do activities from right after breakfast until later in the day. They provide a lot of activities that stimulate the residents minds. They are home to me too. The staff is wonderful, I cannot say enough good things about lighthouse.

November 5, 2020Sue, thank you so much for sharing your review. We are thrilled that your loved one has enjoyed being at The Lighthouse at Lincoln and that his condition improved upon joining our community. We cannot thank you enough for taking the time to write this; thank you for being a part of our Lighthouse family!
We are very happy with the decision to place my husband here. The community is always spotless; I have never seen anything that I would critique. The staff does a good job with working with the residents and relating to them. The care giving staff was very accommodating with my husband's dietary needs and they were very accommodating with his doctor's request to increase the protein in his diet. Comparable to all the other communities that offer similar levels of care, we feel The Lighthouse is a good value.

April 27, 2021Thank you very much for sharing your experience! We're excited to know that you and your loved one found such great value living in our community.
I have nothing but fantastic things to say about The Lighthouse. They have the kindest most caring staff I have ever run into. Previous to this community, my friend was in a community we liked much less. We are liking this community so much better. I feel like they treat me and my friend like family. The care giving staff is super caring and loving. The staff is specifically trained to assist those with memory loss, and they do a terrific job with it. They also offer a ton of activities available for the residents. I would recommend them to anyone. During the Covid-19 pandemic, they have done a great job with protecting the residents. They have done everything they can to keep everyone as safe as possible.

My mother is absolutely thriving at the Lighthouse at Lincoln. The staff is absolutely wonderful. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. It is so easy to communicate with the staff members with any questions or concerns. My mother can be a picky eater, but she absolutely loves the food there. When she first moved in she was a late riser and did not do much, but now she is the first one to get there and is participating in activities. The staff treats her with such kindness and they communicate in a way that she responds to all of the positive attention that motivates her to enjoy life. Although she has only recently moved in we have talked to other residents who have been there for years and they have no complaints. I would highly recommend this community to friends and family.

On the tour I noticed that it is similar to where my mom is currently. It has a memory care and at the time they did not have an availability for us. The location did not really fit the family conveniently either. However, nothing bad was here, my niece liked it a lot.
