Highly recommend

We chose First & Main of New Albany because we had a list of things we were looking for, we looked at about 7 other places and this facility met most of our criteria. The room sizes at the facility were not the largest we saw, but for our needs they were sufficient. The main course on the meals are chef prepared and he really enjoys them. I think that the administration is very open to individual differences that families may want, they are very accommodating. I would recommend them to others looking.

Good Patient Care, Poor Administration Communication

The best feature that I liked was simplicity of the cost. The community has a nice and user friendly pricing system. I would recommend this community based on this feature. The location was nice for us. It was a clean environment, and good care for my loved one. The communication from the administration was not up to par. They didn't call us or call back after us leaving messages for them. They seem to only reach out to us when they were trying to get our business.

Overall, I would move there again.

The memory care staff was extremely dedicated, and caring. Food was adequate. Staffing was an issue, not enough staff and cleaning staff especially on weekends. My mom unfortunately only lived there 30 days before she passed away. (name removed ) was so helpful, she helped us move mom's stuff out and was helpful, this was all during the Covid -19 times so it is very different for everyone.

Mom is so Happy

I Love this new community the staff here is friendly and responsive to my moms needs. The executive team is wonderful and they keep the employee's happy which leads to a Happy home. The food is wonderful here too. The Community is outstandingly clean and the grounds are maintained nicely. Mom has dementia and the staff makes it a point to get her involved in the activities like bingo, and movies in their theater. I would definitely recommend this community.
