I liked this community. The other place just had all the care I needed for my loved one with no extra cost. This facility was also bigger than what I was looking for for my loved one.
I toured Ormond in the Pines and really liked it, there was a lively spirit here. It felt like a hotel and did not have as warm of a feeling as another facility, but the people were all extremely friendly. The rooms here did seem small and outdated.
From our understanding we think our loved one enjoyed the meals but at times the serving sizes were a little to small. The activities were on a reduced amount but when they did have things to do they did it in a very efficient and safe manner. Once the residents finished their quarantine they would take them shopping to thrift stores and even hung up Christmas lights. The lady who gave us the tour was absolutely amazing, she was so hands on the entire time and really bent over backwards for our family. The community also have really beautiful grounds with a court yard and pool area.
The staff exceeded everything that we expected. The communication between the staff and our family was superb, We were kept well informed. I would absolutely recommend this community to others. Everything about this community was amazing. They truly loved our loved ones.
It is a very efficiently run nursing home. I would recommend them. They feed us 8 am breakfast, 12pm lunch, and 5 pm dinner. In between these meals we get snacks and pills brought to us by a nurse's aide. They are always very friendly and complimentary. Also extremely polite. [name removed] our nurse is top-notch. I would give her 5 stars. I would like to recommend [name removed] for recommendations.
The administration in the actual building are excellent and very concerned about the residents. The administration in the building take care of and address problems and are very up-beat!
We chose Ormond in The Pines because of the location and it was a facility we already tried in Iowa, so they were comfortable with the organization. My parents have a 2 bedroom 2 bath and they are very large rooms, very spacious and they are happy with it. They say the food is wonderful here. I would recommend.
This is a wonderful place to live. All of the associates and staff are kind and caring. Absolutely no complaints.
Family has always been important to me. First there's my biological family church family, and family from work. When I moved to Ormond in the Pines and I knew I had a new family right here! Not only is everyone very friendly, we also have all kinds of activities, delicious meals, entertainment and when the Covid virus was here we had places to go. I have never had any doubt that this is the place I want to be the rest of my life. They take care of everyone in such a loving way.
I have nothing but respect and admiration for the working people at Ormond in the Pines they totally devote themselves to taking care of and looking after the residence of this community I admire [name removed] who is the coordinator and later for everything she does To make sure that the residents are taken care of and have everything they need I think the entire workforce with the upmost admiration
Everyone is always very friendly.
I appreciate the hard work that has gone into keeping all residents safe from COVID-19 and the recent tropical storm/hurricane. I know it is hard work, but knowing my mom is much safer than being by herself in an apartment is very important to me. Thank you for working while this has been going on and keeping my mom and others safe!
We toured this with mom. She liked this one. A little farther away but more affordable, and has option to lock in monthly rate.

Too far nice place not a fan assisted living is on 3rd floor
My mother moved in in May, and she very happy there. Most everyone knows her by name and room, she love the meals and she has joined in with many activities ! She 86 yrs young, and has some dementia setting in. Patience is the word for the workers. Would recommend
My mom lives at Ormond in the Pines. She is very happy with the community. She has friends, stays busy and is eating really good food. I highly recommend living there.
Great sized units, but still under renovation (looking good though.) A lot of space for different activities, great outdoor space
My mom was there for a six months contract. Even though she did not move till it was ready. I would of moved her out earlier. Very disappointed at the misrepresentation. Sad but when she left so did 7 and others will follow that can. Still having problems with Pines after 2 plus months. I am ready to go to news to get it resolved. I have pictures to explain my concerns. The people who live their expect what is advertised. The loving people living there are so nice but do they have any other choice. Holiday owes it to them. They pay good money. Please resolve my problems.

Hi Debbie, I am sorry to see that your experience with Ormond in the Pines was not pleasant Your feedback has been shared with regional management. Please reach out to us at [removed] to discuss this further.
I would not recommend this facility to anyone for their loved ones. This was NOT a good experience for me any my family. Their number one priority is the money, not the care of your family. The Management team is not helpful when issues arise, they place the blame on "corporate" and tell you to call there for a resolution. When you call their corporate office, no one will answer, they send you to voicemail, and never return your call. Their customer service is absolutely AWFUL. I really can't believe they are still in business with such terrible customer service. Good Luck with this place, you are going to need it!!

My Mom was overwhelmed by the size of the facility... halls were VERY LONG! Staff was nice. Room size was nice. Dining room nice and food good but VERY NOISY! Could not hardly hear the client who had lunch with us do to noise in dining room and constant piano music.
