My loved one is happy here, and they have made friends, quickly. We are very satisfied with our experience at Oaks at Fayetteville. My loved one loves the food, as they are able to choose what they want off a menu. Some of the activities offered are bingo, devotions, movies, and more for the residents to choose from.

Terrie - Thank you for the five star review taking the time to give us your feedback. We are glad you choose Oaks at Fayetteville for your loved ones new home, and so happy to hear that you are satisfied with the overall experience. Welcome to the Oaks Family!
We did not have a good experience with Oaks at Fayetteville, I would not let a doctor put my loved one here again. We had some billing issues that I did not agree with.

I am very sorry to hear that you've had billing issues. I am with the new management company, we just took over this community and we are working very hard to correct everything that we have inherited. Please feel free to reach out to me directly to resolve your concern. firstname.lastname@example.org
The staff was excellent, caring, wonderful and the community is clean and beautiful. The location is good and the communication is great between the staff and our family. I think you would be very pleased if you use this community. I would recommend highly.

Thanks for the wonderful review Kathy! We very much appreciate the kind words about our community and team. It was good to see the location fits your needs, and great to read that you found the communication from the team to be excellent as we know how important that is. Recommendations from residents and families are high praise indeed --- and we're honored to receive your recommendation.
I would tell others we did not have a good experience. They promised a lot of things that they did not follow through on. For instance my loved one has celiac so they told us they would be able to feed our loved one a gluten free diet and that did not happen. Administration was not responsive at all and I think they will say whatever they can to get you in here.

I am the Executive Director and was sorry to read this review, which was unfortunately just published by SeniorAdvisor. While some time has passed since you wrote this, I would welcome the opportunity to speak with you about your concerns as we always strive to exceed the expectations of our residents and their families. Please contact me at the community at your earliest convenience.
We've had a good experience They've been good to deal with, and I haven't had really any issues at all. They've been nice to work with, and they seem to really treat my loved one well. The only minor issue is it's not a full fledged nursing home, so they don't have medical staff per se. I think they have one during daytime hours. So they like to call the ambulance a lot. But I think that's pretty standard across most assisted living facilities.

We appreciate your 5 star review and your positive comments about how our team is nice to work with and how they treat your loved one so well. We are an Assisted Living so our model includes a Director of Resident Care (who is a nurse), certified nursing assistants, med techs and caregivers. We are not licensed as a skilled nursing community. We do have protocols that we follow when calling the ambulance. I am the Executive Director and would welcome a further conversation if you have any concerns you'd like to discuss. If so please contact me at your convenience at the community. Thank you.
My loved one was there and ended up having bed bugs in their furniture. I found this out when trying to move my loved one out of the community. The community didn't send pictures of my loved one when asked for this. The management changed and the community didn't inform us of this change. The community wanted me to sit with my loved one 24 hours a day for 14 days due to them contracting COVID. They gave me another option to hire someone to do this.
I would want others to know when looking into Gardens of Fayetteville that they say a lot to get you to go there, but it is nothing like what they say. For example, my father has Celiac and he cant have gluten products, they said they could handle that. Then once he moved in they said they don't have gluten free meals. They said they had a lot of activities for residents as well but then they would cancel all the activities. The staff members here were not friendly at all even to our family members, we did not like how they treated him. Overall, we did not have a good experience.
We had some problems with this community, it had to do with the cost at the end. They made some mistakes when it came to what we were suppose to pay. The communication wasn't always there, when we would call to ask questions sometimes we would not get direct answers. We were never able to get a hold of the people who ran the place, and at one point we have to reach out to cooperate. From what we could see the care services were good, it seemed like our loved one was being well cared for. This community was kept clean, it was a scale up from a nursing home. We enjoyed working with the staff, we had a good rapport with them. This did have activities for the patients, they were always busy doing something, whether it was listening to music, coloring, working on puzzles or crosswords. We did eat there a couple of times and it did seem like they had good portion sizes. The rooms were kept very clean, it never smelled like urine which we obviously could not complain about.

I am the Regional Director of Operations and want to thank you for the kind words about the care your loved one received and about the community overall. I would like to speak with you to better understand the issues you were having regarding billing as we are always looking for ways to improve on all facets of our operations. Please contact me by calling the community and asking to be put in touch with the RDO. Regards, Julie.
I really feel that every resident in memory care should be provided a complimentary landline phone in their rooms. My father is in memory care and it would be nice if they have more activities. He would enjoy going on outings in the community, and I don't feel that there is enough of them. I looked at a few places and I chose this one because of the convenience of the location for me. They told me that there would be a monthly price increase each year and i am not happy about that.

Thank you for your feedback. We know that during this time, with non-essential visitations suspended, regular communication with loved ones is very important. To that end there is a landline available for resident use and we are offering all residents and families assistance with FaceTime, Zoom or Skype to help them stay in touch. Note also that while regularly scheduled social events have been eliminated, we are supplementing in-room activities and programming to keep residents engaged. Please contact us directly if we can help your father adjust in any way.
I ended up walking out. Not impressed at all. Employees told me to wait and they would find [name removed] to help me. They were very loud and I could hear them saying they couldn’t find her. Not very professional. Not where I want my mom to be. Scratched off my list.

Visited [date removed]. With [name removed]. Very accommodating. Like facilities.
Very nice place. Again, you see quite a bit of staff support and the rooms are very nice. The group area for memory care was very small. But the care looks fantastic.
I had a decent tour of this community. The community looked nice, everything appeared to be well maintained. The staff I met was kind, and friendly. My issue was I when I arrived for my tour, the lady that was supposed to give the tour wasn't there. I feel that wasn't very professional, and wasn't the best first impression.
The tour guide at Gardens of Fayetteville was very nice and informative. The community just seemed more hospital like and it was not a homey feel.
Everything is going well for my loved one since her move to this community. The place is clean and maintained well. The staff is good, they go up to her room and get her to participate in going to the dining room for meals and interacting with other residents. They offer to take her outside as well.
I do have my concerns about this community, and my mother living here. I would say their responsive time, needs to quicker. Also they need to keep me inform on changes the community is going to have. I will be having a meeting with the director to voice my concerns. Hopefully they are willing to work with m, but if not I will have to consider other options.
My favorite by far of the senior living communities I've experienced in my price range in Atlanta. It felt the most genuine and the accommodations felt more like a home mom could relate to. I've visited several and been disappointed by most.
I love the facility and the employees! It is extremely clean and so much like home! I visit my loved one every day and there is NEVER a problem. All concerns are addressed as soon as they brought to the attention of the staff.
Great place and friendly staff . Even after a couple weeks they are still so friendly and helpful . My moms 88 and she seems to be adjusting well . Thanks dogwood forest . I know mom will be taken care of when I can not be with her all the time . Other residents so nice also she has made new friends .
They are wonderful people there. They are very efficient and caring. The environment is very warm and the employees are just so kind too.
