The food/accommodations were sub par for a bit, but they have gone above and beyond to fix this and it has been noticeably better. The accommodations are on point. The price is what it is! All in all, the entire family is very happy!

Our families experience
We have had experience with the management before with at a different time so with them being at Somerby of Peachtree City we felt very comfortable with our loved one being here. We have been really happy with the head nurse [name removed], they have really been on top of our loved ones care. We have joined our loved one during a few meal times and we think the meals are just fine, but her and some other residents have had a few complaints. However, based on the experience so far we would recommend this community to other families.

Tour experience
Somerby was my parents second choice and I really liked the facility and the people as well. It is a place that we just got a really good feeling when we walked in. Ultimately we got a little better feeling from another place which is why we decided to go with them instead.

Our Experience With Somerby
It's a very nice, friendly, clean and expensive place. They provide a lot of activities that my loved one enjoys. They keep her active. There is a huge turnover with kitchen staff. This makes the meals late due to this sometimes. I know the happy hour is ok for some but I don't think the alcohol is great for other residents in combination with their medications. Just my opinion. Other than that, I cannot say enough nice about them.

I thought the facility was very nice. It was more modern and upscale. I didn't like that I didn’t see the residents up and about though. That might have been the timing of the tour. Or maybe because the rooms were so nice!

Excellent Place for My Parents
Somerby has been a godsend for our family. My parents LOVE living there. The food is delicious, the entire staff is kind and helpful, and there are tons of activities and opportunities for mental/physical/spiritual stimulation. I could not have picked a better fit for my parents!!

We are very happy with Somerby of Peachtree City. We chose this facility because it was the only place at the time that we could put mom and still be able to go see her regularly. The administrative staff keep families updated by emails. I would recommend to others looking.

They've always accommodated everything we've needed. The staff are great - they follow through. They have housekeeping come in to clean once a week. They're not the best but do a decent job. They do offer a lot of activities, and the activities director is wonderful, very upbeat. They have trivia, music, choir, a lot of different things. For the holidays, they just really decorate it really nicely from St. Patrick's Day, to Easter, to Christmas, to Thanksgiving. It makes it very upbeat and cheerful. It's not gaudy, just festive and really well decorated. My loved one seems good with the food, coming from a picky and healthy eater. They give different options, for example baked vs. fried. They also gave the option once the dining room reopened to continue to bring meals to the apartment, depending on what the resident felt comfortable with. Or they could come down and pick it up as well. She also likes the apartment overall. I was impressed that they had CVS come in to give vaccinations in the apartments room to room so the residents didn't have to wait in a line of people. They distributed the paperwork a week before so everything was in place. It was a stress-free situation, and I know the staff did a lot of work to make that happen so smoothly. We've been very happy here and are looking forward to Covid restrictions lifting. The front desk staff are fabulous, very detailed and helpful. The marketing person is real and genuine, and trustworthy. She made the initial process easy and smooth, was very accommodating, and I felt comfortable with her. The staff call my loved one by name, and they've obviously taken the time to get to know her.

My loved one lives here
Our mother has been living in The independent living at Somerby PTC for almost 2 years. We have been pleased with all aspects of this facility. The building is beautiful and the apartment our mom is in is wonderful. One thing our mom loves to share with others is how beautiful the dining room is with its white table cloths and fresh flowers, as well as the good food!
The staff has always been very kind and helpful whenever we had any questions or even if there was a problem. There was always a timely response. I would highly recommend this senior living community to anyone looking for a place for themselves or a family member.

Decidedly upscale facilities in every aspect. All support requirements for the residents are available on site or transportation is provided as required for doctor appointments, etc. Hospice patients can remain at the facility until the end. No move to a nursing home.
The rates are reasonable for the quality of the environment and facilities provided. Value received for the dollar spent is the best of all the facilities I visited. The physical location of the assisted living facility is secure and removed from busy traffic. At the time of my visit, there were only 2 units available out of the many choices of floor plan. I would have preferred to have a few more options but I believe the unit selected is fine.

[Removed] – Director of sales and marketing – provided excellent customer service on tour of this community. Residents and staff were friendly and place was warm and welcoming. Very special community but with a feel like home. Very impressed that community has assisted living option on site and many amenities.
