McLean is a not-for-profit continuum of care campus and so much more. It is located on a beautiful 120 acre campus is Simsbury adjacent to Hop Meadow Country Club. All Village residents are social members of the club. The campus has extensive, safe walking trails and gardens.
The Village at McLean includes 27 barrier-free cottages, 48 large, spacious apartments plus a new neighborhood of villas under construction. The Village Burkholder Community Center hosts numerous activities and flexible dining options. The Village offers rental and a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) with several entrance fee options.
The Robinson Assisted Living neighborhood is within the McLean Health Center offers a full range of services for those who need a more help and round the clock caregivers.
The new Atwater Memory Care Assisted Living neighborhood opened in June in a fully renovated area of the Health Center. It offers a state-of-the-art secure facility and programing for those with Alzheimer's or other forms of dementia.

I met with [name removed] at McLean. She was extremely informative and knowledgable . The facility was excellent and their plans for expansion will make it shine even more.

We moved into McLean Indep. Living on 4//5 and have found it especially welcoming and pleasant. Our 2 BR apt. is just right for us and has a wonderful SE exposure. We have found both the residents and the staff to be friendly and helpful. In our search (and we looked at about 9 places) we found only Seabury and McLean to meet our standards of excellence. However Seabury had a long waiting list which didn't correspond with our need. McLean is smaller and more low-key and we're glad we made this choice.
