My mom and I toured this facility today in the search for her new home. I really liked facility. There were so many common spaces, activity rooms, a real movie theater, library and a great outdoor patio. It was very clean and the residents were present in the common areas and seemed active. This is a real contender on our list!
The sales people are very kind, they are good at their job, however the assistant to the nurse was very rude. When we visited we were very hands on, very helpful and we were straight forward with the staff about our loved ones health. They promised they would not kick anybody out despite their health or behavioral issues. They reassured us everything was going to be okay but that was not the case. Our loved one had several outburst which caused some behavioral issues, she quick eating, drinking and not taking her meds. She became very paranoid. They did not have the activities they promised because of the short staff and the holidays. The night staff would hang out playing on their phones while the residents were wondering the halls. Our loved ones items were disappearing, they just did not handle the situation properly or follow through with the things they had promised.
There are lots of activities outside of COVID for the residents to choose from. The friendliness, and the residents feel cared for and close to the staff. The communication is really good with the community. They send emails to us about the latest status on how things are going.
We chose Legend at Fort Worth because when we toured we really liked the staff members, they were very friendly and it was a nice overall facility. The room sizes here are very generous. The best part about the community was that it felt more home-like rather than a nursing home. I would recommend to others.
At this stage in my life it is sufficient for me. Friendly staff.

I like most of the people who work here. Overall I say it's a good place to be. The people who are good are really good, but the bad apples although they weed out the bad promptly.
Staff is wonderful. Food is good, no complaints.
Need more aides. Have been bad in that category. However, situations have been improved recently. Good food.
I get great showers! I also enjoy the bistro with its hot chocolate. Great people work here and I appreciate that.
