Mixed experience
Our experience with The Hermitage has been somewhat mixed. The facility itself is clean and well kept, the staff seem friendly, and the food is decent. However, I really think they could more activities, that is my biggest issue with them.

We really liked this place, it was interesting.
We really liked this place, it was interesting. They would have been able to take her if she had dementia, but they were not equipped to care for someone with psychological issues. Not many places were.

awesome
Overall The Hermitage is awesome. From the time that we visited there when we were initially looking for a place for my dad up to now everything has been really spectacular. We left there after the first day saying "this place really feels like home". Very caring, friendly, and welcoming. The staff, caregivers, everyone has been very friendly caring and helpful all throughout. The only thing we have had any problems with is that he has a catheter that needs to be changed monthly and the first month in did not go well and he ended up at the emergency room. Other than that once incident everything has gone extremely well.
