I have shared this community with others. The staff is wonderful, and it is a smaller community. It can be tough to get a hold of the administration since the pandemic started. I have to leave several messages and it can take several days to hear back from them. The maintenance team has been great about helping getting our loved one's items out of the community after their passing. It was nice to have my loved one here.

Hello Sherrie, my name is Alison, and I work at the Support Center. Thank you for taking the time to write about your experience at Anchor Bay at Greenwich. I have shared your comments with our leadership team. If you are open to connecting further, can you please send us a private message with your phone number or email address? We'll reach out to chat. Thank you, Alison
My mom lived in the memory care unit so she doesn't participate in the activities provided to the other residents. She enjoyed the food, she had a positive experience. The layout of the overall community was great, very open. On the memory care side it was a little awkward, and a little hard to navigate through. Out of the other communities we looked at the staff at this facility was super friendly, their attentiveness really stood out to us. They were constantly engaging with the residents, and seemed to really care about my moms overall well being.

A place for Mom gave us a list of contacts for assisted living facilities and sent us resource material on what to look for and questions to ask. After contacting a few facilities and touring some, we chose the Haven at Springwood. At the time of our tour, they had an incentive program that waived the one time community fee. This incentive plus the way it was decorated reminded us more of a hotel rather than a senior center. The hallways are wide and well lit and it has a modern dining area that was originally a barn with high ceiling. The staff has been friendly and promptly answer any questions we have had. Our loved on is getting the care that is needed and has adjusted to their new home.

We were so grateful for A Place for Mom who gave us a list of recommended assisted living facilities in the York area and resources on what to look for and questions to ask. After touring a few on the list we decided on the Haven at Springwood. We were not sure how this move would go, but it went so smooth. The Haven recommended a mover who only moves seniors. The move was flawless. Prior to living in the Haven, our loved one did not eat well and said he did not have an appetite plus he only watched tv. Since he has been at the Haven, he has not missed a meal, is joining in activities, enjoys the musicians that come to entertain. On nice days, he sits outside and enjoys the fresh air. The staff is great and very friendly and all seem to like their jobs. The medical staff are very professional and they follow the doctors orders on medicines and refill his prescriptions . We would like to especially thank [name removed], Director of Sales and Marketing at the Haven for all her help through this process. The family is happy with our choice of the Haven.

My parents are both at The Haven at Springwood. The Staff are very friendly and compassionate in taking care of their progressing needs. Dad's Parkinson's disease will be a challenge for all and they treat him with dignity as they help with his daily needs. I would certainly recommend this facility to others.

I am glad we chose The Haven at Springwood. It is a nice clean facility and the staff are friendly but I do have issues with them abiding by the Level 1 personal care as was outlined when admitted, as the caretakers are not following through with this level of care on a daily basis. Also their cost since admitted in March of 2017 has increased in November 2018 to $131.00 more a month.

Short staffed. The staff that was available did not do their jobs in a professional & efficient manner. Lack of staff communication with the patients. The meals were good most of the time

Hi there, my name is Shawn, and I work at the Milestone Support Center (located in Vancouver, WA). The experience with staff members and communication with residents do not match the expectations that we set for our communities. I have gone and forwarded this review to our community and leadership team. I know that a Resident Council Meeting happened yesterday (11/14) so that residents and families can express concerns that they have. Our community leadership team takes these and Resident Council meetings seriously. Please private message us through Facebook if you wish to provide additional information about your experience. I can then provide the information to the correct individuals. Thank you again and have a great rest of your day. Shawn - Digital Marketing
We had a very engaging tour with [Name removed]. She greeted the residents by name and made us feel very welcomed. The facility was very lovely and inviting. There were multiple places for residents to engage one another. We had an opportunity to see many residents engaged in activities. We saw the majority of the facility and had all of our questions answered. The smaller room was adequate in size and had a very nice sized bathroom. I like the variety of activities available. The dining room was large and they use assigned seating. We encountered many staff which were friendly and very personable with the residents.
Investigating places for my mother. Had a great tour of the Haven at Springwood: saw 2 rooms, spoke with staff and patients; all very friendly. Marketing Director very friendly and helpful. Facility clean and bright. Very impressed.
This is a beautiful facility, warm and welcoming as were theTeam who took me on the tour. The clients appeared at ease and content, and the unit that was available was just lovely. Since it was not a secured facility, it was not a fit, but they suggested other options, which we will be looking into shortly. Wonderful experience!
The services offered are at par with most re laundry, food, activities, cleaning etc. Rooms were smaller than some. Bathrooms were large. Rent is okay but the level of care and how they will assess that can be very costly here and not enough other pluses to warrant the rent just because a newer facility. The facility is clean. But we did not really see residents moving around like we did in other places. This is a multi-level facility so mom will need to be comfortable with that. The halls are so big that it takes away from room size and angles are confusing. The halls were almost too wide and not enough seating in visiting areas. Almost too much of a clinical look. The dining room was nice and menu looks adequate. I dont think there were enough positives to offset the small room size. There are so many open spaces with no purpose. Would have been better to put more of that space into the rooms. I was told the hallways are like that so that 2 people can pass easily, but I never thought that a problem in other places. And it was one of the higher priced facilities. They pointed out during our pre meeting that they have lots of chairs for residents to sit if they need to take a break while walking. But I saw some chairs but certainly not enough. I think all the wideness and open space could be confusing to some elderly persons. It was almost like they werent finished decorating. This is a newer facility but that is probably its biggest plus.
I toured The Haven at Springwood. I had a good tour, the person that took me around was friendly and helpful. The place was clean and maintained well. It was a good experience to tour, but not the best fit for my mother.
I had a good tour of this community, everything went well. This is a nice community, and from what I saw they do a good job with the cleanliness of the facility. The staff was courteous, and friendly. I would recommend the assisted living portion, but not the memory care portion.
It is a very nice place from looks, but is severely under staffed and disorganized. The help always seems overloaded and overwhelmed but the daily operations. Many daily services are often left undone (bed making, cleaning, personal showering), due to the lack of help. Also dietary orders from physicians go unfollowed as they can not make people follow them, IE: a diabetic can eat anything on the menu with no one monitoring their diet order.

Hi, I'm Katie, I work at Milestone Retirement's support center. Our operations team is working diligently to bring new improvements to The Haven at Springwood, and your feedback helps immensely. I've shared your feedback with the Regional Director of Operations for further review. Thank you again, Katie - Digital Marketing - Milestone Retirement
The Haven at Springwood was a very nice place to tour. It was definitely a hard choice to make. The place was very clean and well maintained. The tour guide was on time, very friendly, and knowledgeable.
Used to be a fantastic place but new ownership has ruined it. The food is terrible. They give you a better meal when you visit than you actually get when you live there. They have also cut down the number of aides to assist those that live here. Sometimes we wait over an hour after hitting the call bell. Activities is great and provides alot of different activities.

I'm happy with the care this community gives to my mom. They have helped her get comfortable to her new environment. So far they are doing a wonderful job. I think the food is alright and I hope my mom will too. The facility is a beautiful place and they keep it clean for the residents. I would mention this community to family and friends.
We have no complaints about this community. We are happy we chose this one. The staff is very friendly. The place is very clean. They are currently revamping their activities for the residents which is awesome. We have eater here several times and the food is very good. Overall we would recommend this community to anyone.
