My father was admitted on [date removed]. A few days later around 11PM my sister received a call that our father was being rushed to the hospital due to chest pains. A few minutes later they called my sister again to let her know they had the wrong patient. That was the first alarm bell. My father was there less than two weeks and they wanted us to move him to a larger room increasing the yearly cost by over $25,000.00. They said they needed the room to accommodate two families they were working with. The Compass unit deals with memory issues. This was the second alarm bell. It's a struggle to talk to him because there is no way to reach him other than to call a staff's member cell phone which is rarely answered. I cannot recommend this facility to anyone that cares about the needs of their family member,

The staff is really good to our loved, the community has been kept very clean especially during COVID. Everyone seems very nice there. Right now the residents are taking walks because there aren't any activities to do. Before COVID they would take them to different activities, and sometimes to the Opera house near the shore, they would also take them to plays. They would go shopping, and would have happy hour. They just switched chefs, and they are having their food delivered to their rooms. Before they had a full menu but now they are getting only about two options to choose from, They are allowing around one-two residents to come sit at the dining room. They have only had two cases confirmed. They have done a great job keeping the residents safe.

We chose Farmington Station because of the location, my mom lived in the area and all her kids are in the area as well. The room sizes are good. The food looks ok, some meals look better than others. They have a decent variety. I would recommend this community.
