I enjoy living here at Avamere. I really enjoy and appreciate their staff. They are always helpful and full of fun!! The food is really good and the other residents are fun and very accepting of new folks. Come and join the fun we are a great group of people.

We appreciate your positive review about your recent experience with us!
The administrators and staff at Brookdale South Hill are extremely rude! After jumping through all their hoops, bending over backwards to help them and doing 90% of the work to get our mother assessed for residency; the Director Scott was a no show to a prescheduled meeting, and after waiting over 45 minutes for the administrator Susan, she rudely denied our mother and made her cry in their lobby.Reviewed on A Place For Mom
I would recommend always being cautious on what is going on there and to make a lot of notes about the community. Avamere could be better at communication with residents and families. There is a lot of turnover of medical techs in this community. The food isn't great.
