Our experience so far at this facility has been okay. The biggest issue that I have would be that they seem to be unprepared to deal with Parkinson's, especially on the medication side. If you're just looking for Assisted Living or even Independent Living without additional needs, I would probably rate them higher. Another concern is that it's a newer construction building and there are some quality issues with the construction that need to be resolved. The food is very good quality and variety. Communication with the family is very good. They seem to offer a good variety of activities, my loved one just doesn't participate much. Housekeeping seems to be once a week. I would maybe recommend this facility to family and friends for Assisted or Independent Living, it depends on the situation. It probably wouldn't be my first choice.

Beautiful building. Beautiful apts. Residents are lovely. Nice group of people. Food is ok; could be much better. Wait staff should pay better attention when taking resident meal orders. CNAs - compassion is a requirement of the job. Maintenance dept needs better staffing/capability to respond to HVAC issues. Ask about timing of rent increase and then get commitment in writing.

This was a very nice community. We had a hard time in getting follow up from the community. In addition, it was too far from family.

I would recommend you look elsewhere for your loved ones for a community. There has been a lot of turnover of staff at the local level. You pay for a lot more than you are getting. The community seems to be disorganized. The staff communication with the family wasn't great at first. Things have started to get better with communication, only because we have spoken several times to management to get my concerns accomplished.

What we like about Anthology is the food, the meals are good and the staff are friendly. However they need a lot of improvement with their organization within the administrative team. The nursing staff could have better communication, we had some issues with our loved one not receiving medication at the correct time there could be better training. We also had big problems when it comes to the activities.

Once we determined mom needed more care - they were one of the locations that offered assisted living. I was initially very impressed because of the look and feel and apparent friendliness of the staff. We booked an appointment for them to come assess mom/ They never showed up and when they finally got back to me they gave me information that was inaccurate. They embellished things to make it seem much worse than it actually was. They said her case was worse than they could handle. I found this facility to have a lack of integrity and to not care for people who are already in a dire situation. I would absolutely not recommend them at all.

Do not be fooled by the new facility and amenities. Every day another administrator leaves. The nursing director, executive director and a few nurses all abruptly resigned as of last week. There is no qualified executive manager running this place. The majority of the nursing assistants are agency/contract workers. Even with the astonishingly high turnover rate in their nursing/clinical unit, they continue to accept new asst living residents. Management is a hot mess. They have multiple overlapping and processes for medication administration. They won't directly answer any questions. Multiple residents have had issues with their emergency call pendants functioning and Anthology refuses to address residents/family member's questions about the issues. If you need "any" level of assistance, look elsewhere....

I would say it must be recalled that AT is a brand new facility. The staff has been very friendly and concerned but as a new facility it takes time to settle onto the routines that more established groups display. My mother has a very attractive and comfortable apartment and the staff is very kind. In all a most happy experience. Opinions are cheap in reality. The fact is these folks have worked hard to get up to speed and genuinely care for their clients. They have been cooperative and accommodating for the most part. Most issues that have arisen can be attributed to working to find the right support and instituting procedure.

I would tell others not to take your loved ones here. My friends were not given their prescribed medications while they were here on multiple occasions.

They do not get to the repairs as fast as they should, I think they opened too soon and the problems were not all sorted out yet. There is no heat in the bathrooms, there is no water pressure, and her cabinet doors in the bathroom are not fixed. They definitely need some improvements.
