  • It's all about the money for them

We were very disappointed with Atria. We signed a move in contract for the first of the month and then they said we couldn't move in until the [date removed] of the month. My mother in law was packed and moving from out of state and it was incredibly stressful. They never even an apologized to us. The food was terrible, the freezer was always broken , and they went through three chefs in three months. The residents contracted outside caregivers, and they were lovely people. At Atria, the front desk person with nice but the rest of the staff were rude and harsh. For example, when my mother in law was moving out, the manager stopped us, and in front of my mother in law said "you need to be out by the end of the day." It was really horrible . I would say to families, don't go there. It is not a good value for your money. We were incredibly disappointed by the entire experience.

  • [Name removed] answered so many questions that we had regarding moving a parent into independent living. I loved the facility especially that it also had an assisted living area. I love that there is a walking club and a nearby lake and that seniors go to Harris Teeter every Thursday! The community there seems to be one where my father would fit. We are happy to have this location as an option in our future plans if we do need to move Dad into independent living.

  • Very nice it is high on my list but does cost a lot. It has assisted living and independent living so you get the combination of both
