Assisted living communities administer care, social interaction, and supervision to people who are about 65 years of age or older. Services offered often include help with ADLs. Staff members obtain education in a variety of areas. These areas include cardiopulmonary resuscitation for adults, first-aid, in-service education, and orientation that is specific to duties. This community has a number of provisions concerning food and diet which include meals must meets the nutritional needs of residents, meals must comply with therapeutic diets specified in their service plan, and communities must provide meals and snacks in accordance with federal dietary guidelines. Public assistance is available through Arizona Long-Term Care System (ALTCS).
