I would recommend the community to others for their loved ones. The community is very respectful of the residents that are veterans. My loved one seems very happy here. The staff are receptive to conversation with the residents.
My mother lives there after she came back from hospital. We were told they would need to send in two people to put her in bed and bathroom. The additional charge of $1700 a month for that service 8 months ago . Come to find out they never told staff about needing two people and only one person has been putting her bed and using the bathroom. Been paying 1700 a month for two people and only one person has been doing it. So if you decide to go there watch bill close!!

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are committed to continuous quality service and care and will share your feedback with our management team.
The renovation is beautiful. It's spotless, spacious, and homey. I'm so grateful such a place exists. It gives us great peace of mind. The staff we dealt with in touring and moving in were great. Everyone is incredibly friendly, kind, and personable, in jobs that they're well suited for. They were meant to work with this age group - they have genuine patience with the residents. Our loved one loves to cook, so we were concerned he would dislike the food. But he was very, very pleased. He would call us and read us the menu. Of course it's not home cooking, but still pretty good. They just started offering more activities again, and the dining room is opening up again. As you enter the dining room, there's a wall of honor. Our loved one is a veteran, so this is a huge deal to us. We're just thrilled. We've been very happy here.
High pressure sales. They push the discounts "but you need to sign today to get them". They got my mom to give them a check for [amount removed] despite our instructions that they were to deal with family (me) as mom has dementia. I told them we were not signing the contract and to destroy the check. They cashed the check and somehow ended up with a signed contract (docusign and mom doesn't have a computer, so how?) When we tried to cancel the sales rep called my mom and told her to just pack and get out of the house and move in to the facility as soon as possible, told her not to listen to family and some other highly unethical things. Finally got them to agree to cancel. They refused to give me a copy of the contract, even though I have full POA over my mom's affairs. More of a fight and finally got a copy of the contract and prices, services, etc.. were not what was promised by the sales staff. Still unable to determine who actually signed on behalf of my mom.
The staff is excellent and made sure they knew what we wanted. The room is perfect with a great view. Communication is very good between the staff and families but there is room for improvement. I would recommend this community to others. They are open to feedback and have addressed any issue that has come up.
This is a good place to be. I am happy and super satisfied at this community. I feel like a princess when I am at Brookdale Apache Junction. Everyone is so helpful and friendly. I am in a studio and it is perfect for me. I was even able to bring my dog with me.
Been with Brookdale for 10 years — very nice. Great staff.
I have been very satisfied here, enjoy our apartment especially. The staff is very patient and accommodating. With conditions now, we have many restrictions because of the coronavirus, but all the employees have done their best to help things go smoothly and I am very impressed.
Great — we are safe here they don't let people in to expose us to COVID-19.
Great — we are protected in this community — food is good we eat in our apartment.
I am extremely satisfied with Brookdale. Feel like a princess, as the treatment I receive goes above and beyond. The staff is great! Never before have I been treated so well. They are so concerned about our staying healthy. In other words, they keep a sharp eye on the residents. And the food is so good. I am so happy to be living here.
I have lived in Brookdale for 5 months and the management and staff have far succeeded my expectations. The many policies and procedures implemented to protect residents against COVID-19 are outstanding. All of the management and staff are cordial and more than willing to assist when required. Thank you Brookdale Apache Junction!
They are doing what should be done to keep us healthy.
We have lived here six months and it has been great. We have not been able to leave the property since [date removed] but the people who work here have made it possible to accept. The people who deliver our food, clean our apartments, man the front desk are great. Would name names but there is not room to put them all. Love every one of them. GREAT PLACE.
All staff members at Brookdale Apache Junction are friendly and helpful while serving all of our needs. In spite of the COVID-19 outbreak the kitchen and dining staff have been especially dedicated. The kitchen staff continues to prepare our meals in the kitchen heat while wearing face masks. The dining room staff delivers three meals daily to our rooms in face masks while continuing to have a friendly attitude. All of this to maintain our safety. For this we are all grateful.
There have been many changes during these seven months that Brookdale has been my new home. In pre-COVID days there were activities and entertainment and dining in the dining room. Our staff has been pro-active, thoughtful, and earnest as changes have been made, all with the intention of keeping us safe from this vicious virus that is changing all of our lives wherever we live. As everyone at Brookdale is working to accomplish a safe environment, it's being done with the intention of keeping us comfortable and happy. What hasn't changed during these challenging times is a warm, happy atmosphere. It's obvious that everyone enjoys working here and is sharing responsibilities with the common goal of making life as pleasant as possible. They are succeeding!
I am happy here at Brookdale. The whole staff of employees here are just great. Every one of them are friendly and I will say helpful in all ways. I am very pleased with all of the residents and especially the whole employee group. Usually, we have many activities going on right now but to COVID-19 things are at a standstill. Sure do miss all fo the fun things.
Wow! What a beautiful and well-maintained community. I toured this community for my mom. I loved how friendly everyone was and you could tell the residents are well taken care of and happy. Unfortunately, my mom chose to move out of state to be near my brother. If she didn't move we would have picked this community for her. Keep up the great work!
I had my father stay at Brookdale, Apache Junction for a year and thought I might do better elsewhere. I was wrong and tried three other facilities in the search for a better deal to be blunt. With all of the moving and readjusting involved, I now realize it would have been best to stay with my original choice, Brookdale Apache junction. The wide array of available activities and food choices along with the sense of independence makes it the perfect choice. Hind sight is 20/20 and I wish I would have known what I know now.
Enjoyed visiting and looking at this facility! [Name removed] was very knowledgeable and helpful in discussing how [name removed] might be a good fit here. Everything was very clean and well maintained. They invited us to eat lunch in the dining room. We ate with two residents who had nothing to say but "nice" things about Brookdale Apache Junction. Enjoyed the food and the company very much! The staff is exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The longevity of the staff says a lot about this place from the kitchen and dining room staff to the administrative staff---most of them have been here many, many, many years! Negative is that there are extra fees for furniture for [name removed] temporary stay as well as the community fee is of concern. The apartment was very bright and clean. Kudos to Kevin and the the Brookdale Apache Junction staff---they are AWESOME!
