Pacifica was nice but it was not as open as we would have liked. It seemed more condensed and the location did not work well for us either.

Regency Park Astoria is a great place. We've very happy with it. The staff is caring and friendly. It takes a minute for everyone to adjust, from the patient, to the staff, to the family. But in about 30-45 days, everybody kind of finds their rhythm and figures out how everything works. They don't have quite as many activities right now as they normally would due to Covid, but the patients seem to like the activities they do have.

My mother has been a resident of Park Terrace for a year. I myself worked in Gerontology for 15 years and have visited many seniors living facilities. I have been particularly impressed with the Park Terrace staff as they are consistently upbeat, patient, and courteous to residents. They are always willing and ready to accommodate and help residents and family members. Visitors are allowed almost any time of the day or night. The complex is inviting, spacious, and immaculate with several large patios and includes a beauty salon, a large comfortable library with computers and a poll. Park Terrace has both a cafe and a dining room which is more like a dining room which is more like a restaurant with respectful servers and a changing menu. My mother has never had to eat alone. They have an extensive schedule of daily activities including local trips, exercise classes, entertainment, shopping, history classes, happy hours, church services, bingo, podiatry services and yoga. It always seems to me that Park Terrace runs like-tuned machine: well organized and coordinated. And so the outcome for us is peace of mind for my mom and our family.

Atria Tarzana is an outstanding community that employs individuals who genuinely care about the residents as well as the resident's family. I found the staff at Atria Tarzana to be consistently friendly, extremely helpful and always willing to accommodate. The care and assistance begins with the individual at the complimentary valet service and continues with the individual at the front desk and the rest of the Atria Tarzana staff. In addition to being impressed with the staff I was also very impressed with the Senior living residential apartments. The apartments as well as the surrounding community rooms were very clean and modernly furnished. The food was delicious and it was evident it was prepared by a talented chef.
