I looked for long time for a place to call home where it was quiet and peaceful and found that here. I go for walks without being afraid. Personally I have not had any problems with my apartment that wasn’t taken care of in a reasonable amount of time. Like a light bulb needing to be replaced little things. Recently our apartments were painted they look great modern and cleaner.I’ve lived here since 2015.... Read more

I've lived at HOV for 6+ years. The new owner (the son of the old owner) decided to build an elevator two feet outside of my door. It cuts off ALL of my light. When I told him the elevator would cut off my light, he said, "Well, you don't get much, anyway, so it doesn't matter." Maybe not to him... Talk about habitability issues - the construction company has been terrible, and no one (in charge) at HOV has even ONCE come down to this area (where the construction is going on) and asked if we're doing ok, if we need anything, etc. They don't care about the tenant's welfare! We're walking on construction debris. I'm sweeping nightly or it won't be done. 2 1/2 weeks ago, the construction company pushed their heavy chain link fence up against my door, trapping me in my apartment. They were nowhere to be found. I called the office to tell them it needed to be moved. I only got an answering machine. I left a message that I was, basically, a prisoner in my apartment, with the fence there. The next day I had an eviction notice on my door. For reporting a major fire code violation! A few months ago, they started evicting people so they could hike up rents. The manager is very cold blooded and the new owner is even worse. I could NOT recommend this place. It sure isn't what it used to be...
