I am so amazed and glad my mom and I found this community. A really big factor is this place is only 10 minutes away from my dad so he is able to see my mom and spend the night here and there. The other big thing is that they have a “Safe Room” since we are in Oklahoma. They have everything you could need in case of a disaster. They have food, supplies and even medication for all of the residents there. When you first walk in, they have a small aviary with birds that everyone can watch. Everyone is very nice and good to my Mother. The staff actually interacts with everyone. I haven’t seen anyone without a smile on their face. They are very caring and they have a heart for this field of work. It’s definitely a family oriented place. They have fall festivals, Christmas festivals, thanksgiving dinners, and a Veterans Day celebration. I’m amazed at how busy they keep my mom. For activities, they have exercise classes, card games, a craft room with a sewing machine, musicians and singers who came in, and a dance group that comes in. They also watch the football games and have tail gate parties. When I came in one time they even had a craft fair that came in that was selling wreaths and crafty things. The facility itself is beautiful and always clean. There wasn’t even a certain type of smell that you would come to expect from a nursing home. The housekeeping comes in regularly to clean. They also allow the residents to plant flowers and have a garden by their window. The rooms are nice with plenty of storage space that is wheelchair accessible. There’s also a microwave, sink, and refrigerator in her room. My mom can control her heat and air, there’s Wi-Fi in the common areas, and they offer basic cable in all of the rooms. The food is okay and my mom hasn’t complained for the 2 months she’s been here. They actually just hired a new chef right before my mom got there. There are 3 meals a day with 2 meal choices for each meal. They also have an a la carte menu if you wanted something small like a snack or salad. I can even eat with my mom for $5 a meal. I am very pleased with this community and she is really happy here. I would really recommend this facility.

My 97 year old Father has lived at Fountain Brook for 6 months. He is absolutely a changed man since he came to Fountain Brook! I am so pleased he is so well cared for, but beyond that he is loved! The most outstanding aspect is the Care Staff, [Removed] and the night staff are absolutely the most loving, caring people you can find, they love their jobs and it shows. I just don't know where in the world my Father could receive better care. When there is any question about his health, the Doc is brought in to assess, labs are taken and meds are directed immediately! The Activities staff also are friendly, loving and have adopted my father as one of their own. Staff family members come to visit him! The food is very good and served cafe style. My father often just has cereal for supper, because that is what he was use to at home. The cafe staff also is caring and loving and treat everyone as family! A big shout out to [Removed]! I just love Fountain Brook, And you will too!

We recently moved to the Dallas area without anticipating the need for Assisted Living - when the need rose in priority, we were provided Elmcroft as a viable option by A place for Mom. During our initial tour, we immediately felt at home. Elmcroft has a compassionate staff who know everyone by name and really care about their residents. My dad is getting stronger and is always very clean and shaven. They assist with personal care and ensure he is walking as feasible. This move from our home was a big adjustment on all sides, but we know Dad is safe and better cared for than we could do in our home.

This is a great place for my mom. they make her feel like a part of the community. She has settled very well. I know that she does like the meals and likes know that more is available. The community is clean and I like knowing that she does like living here.They have daily activities that she does enjoy with the other residents. I would highly recommend the care and comfort of this community for the care of others

They've taken really good care of my grandma. Not just seeing to her physical needs but also trying to help improve her mential and emotional well being. They keep me informed and also take the time to hear my concerns and answer my questions as well.

staff is friendly any problems or concerns I have had are addressed right away and a answer is always given, the place is always clean and my dad was leary about moving to assisted living but they have made him feel very welcome and I am thankful for that. I would recommend this place to anyone who needs a friendly environment for there loved ones

The Elmcroft staff are wonderful. They are very personable and know all of the residents by name. They try to engage everyone is all of the activities they have available. The meals are very tasty! They are very welcoming to having family members eat there whenever so I always tell my kids, "You're going to dinner with grandmother". Very good place I highly recommend it.

Wonderful community with thoughtful and kind care givers. Positive, cheerful environment. We looked at several communities for Mom, and Elmcroft was the only one that met all of the criteria. Thank you !!

The community at Lakeside Assisted Living has been a great place for our loved one. The staff are providing wonderful care for my loved one. They were able to identify a care issue that our loved one needed and they proactively took care of it. The community is nicely kept and well maintained. The community is clean throughout.

This community has been taking good care of my wife. Everyone is nice to her and the staff are attentive and respectful. I have tried the meals and it is good. They have activities available. The other day they were singing church songs and she really enjoyed that.

Staff was friendly and caring and the facility was well maintained. What was unique with this facility was the cost was one price, for the room and care. This may help others determine a decision. Very nice open area outside for residents to sit and enjoy the outdoors.

My dad is doing well since moving into this community. He likes the food a lot. They offer a lot of activities and the staff are good at interacting with the residents. The staff are good caregivers and they keep the community clean.

I'am very impressed with this community, this is really an outstanding place. My mother is doing fantastic, she has really improved since her move to the community. The community looks great, it smells good and everything is nice and clean. The staff is amazing, they are like angels, they are taking good care of my mother. There are many activities offered, she is trying a few. She is eating well, the food is good. Her walking has improved and her memory as well. I can't say enough good things about this community.

The attentiveness of the staff members was great. They are always on the ball and respond very quickly to any questions or requests. The place is well cleaned and organized. We are please with the entire organization.

I have had a little trouble getting my Dad settled in, but that was because of him. They have a good activities director. It is clean and I like the staff. Dad is in Memory care. It has been difficult getting him settled in, but through no fault of the facility. We have had our ups and downs, but that is to be expected.

I cant find anything wrong with Lakeside Assisted Living. The only thing that would make it perfect is if they would come and pick me up in Georgia on their dime so I could go visit. It really has been a good experience there so far.

My father was sure that he would not like any living situation other being at home. It is what he knew. The reality of being at home was that he was lonely without my mother who passed away two years before. He was not eating right because he was not hungry. He was not taking his medicine correctly or at all because he did not feel like it. He was not exercising to keep himself mobile. It took his caregiver (my sister) to take a vacation for him to see what else was possible. Then I found Lakeside with some research. My father could not find anything bad to say about Lakeside. He was meeting and talking to other people again. His medication was being monitored and given to him by a nurse. He liked his studio apartment with his own furniture. The staff would come for him at breakfast, lunch and dinner if he did not show up at the dining room AND the food was great. My father's general health and outlook on life has improved dramatically. I highly recommend Lakeside Assisted Living. When the time comes for me to live outside my home, this is where I want to spend my elderly years.

My husband was at Lakeside after his second stroke and stay at a hospital. I found out later he had Dementia and Parkinson as well. I still brought him home hoping for another miracle of a fast recovery. Instead he kept saying he wanted to go back home. I didn't know he meant back to Lakeside. When I realized what he meant..I took him back and after a few weeks of trying out with new medications for Parkinson and PTSD, he settled in quite nicely and really likes it there and I couldn't be more happier. The staff is wonderful. I get feedback from the CNA's every time I visit him and he always looks so well and ready for visitors no matter what time I visit him. He participates in activities as well as he can and loves the food. God Bless the Staff at Lakeside. I couldn't be more pleased...

The staff is wonderful and always very welcoming, my mother is well taken care of nothing needs improving.
