Had an unpleasant smell and felt like a nursing home. Tour was good but not a lot of workers were around and would not show me the memory care unit. Said it was not that they were ashamed just respecting privacy but they showed me the other spaces so what about their privacy. Just put up a red flag. Also saw some window unit air conditioners in the back part of the building.

I liked what I saw and the people at Elmcroft. The place looked very clean and the people (both 'guests' and employees) seemed very nice and friendly. The only drawbacks, for me, to Elmcroft were ... (1) the location is a bit difficult for me to get to from Carrollton during periods of high traffic, (2) the rooms seemed tiny, (3) this facility is not located close to a major medical facility or area, as far as I know. Other than that, I loved it ... and it may be what we choose. We just haven't made a decision yet.

Wonderful Community

Wonderful community with thoughtful and kind care givers. Positive, cheerful environment. We looked at several communities for Mom, and Elmcroft was the only one that met all of the criteria. Thank you !!
