Promenade Senior Living

I recently had taken a tour of this community for my mother and I was pleased with the experience. It was actually our first choice for mom. We felt that their facilities were more than adequate for her. The director all but guaranteed a room. We were all set to go and transfer her and then Promenade said they decided that they did not feel that they had adequate ability to care for her. They did not handle this well at all due to lack of communication.

I had a very nice tour of this community. It is a nice facility went a kind staff. The tour went well. The community looked clean, but it was a bit smaller than I would have liked for my mother. My tour guide was informative, and my questions were answered. It was a nice experience, but I did find another community that suited our needs better.

Currently my mother is in rehab. but once she gets better she will be making the return to this community. I know she is safe, and in good hands at this facility. They have a great staff at this community. They are very helpful, and attentive. One of the first thing I noticed when I toured this community, was how clean it was. Everything looks great. This is a great community, and I would recommend it.

When touring, the main things we were looking at was price and care. This place was very nice and the staff were all very friendly, but the price of the care and medication plus the monthly fee were too much. I did really like the set up, though.

Everything the place is very nice. So far, we have no complaints. The meals are good and they have some activities which my loved one does partake in.

I had a pretty good tour of this community. Everything went very well. They were very nice to my family and myself. The community looked wonderful, everything was very well-kept. The staff I came across was kind and courteous. This is a nice community, but I found one that was a closer for to travel too.

The community is clean and my father is very happy with the variety of meals that are offered. His room is nice for the size. We are happy with the care that he is receiving and recommend this community to others.

So far everything is working out very well for my father here at this community. He has adjusted very well to it, and I'am pleased. The location of the community is close to me. It is a nice and clean community. He is around his fellow peers his own age. It is a great community, and has worked out well for us.

We toured Promenade at Chestnut Ridge while looking into care options for a loved one, and I thought it seemed like a very nice place overall, I got a good impression. It wasn't quite as fancy as some of the places we saw, but it was also much lower in price. The employee who gave us the tour was knowledgeable and helpful, and the place just seemed well run in general. I'd say it is worth a look!

Loved it. Small facility. Lots of activities happening. The director know all the residents by name. But NO MEDICAID ROOMS so need to eliminate.

My mother only lived here for a week, and I have mixed feelings looking back. When we first checked it out, I was very impressed. The staff was warm, receptive, and the community is very clean. I told the staff that she used a wheelchair at home, but they only said she needed the walker at the residence. In the time that she was there, she fell three times. I do not in any way blame the staff, but I wish she had been given more attention. After she fell, they asked me to bring the wheelchair. Also, after I took her out of the residence, multiple articles of her clothing were missing. This was six weeks ago, and I still have not gotten any of them back. The staff has been nice about it, I received an apology, but I have since had difficulty reaching them or they have not communicated with me. This has been disappointing, and I wish they would have an overall increase of attentiveness to their residents and their families.

really liked the Promenade. Scarlett and Nicole were great. Nicole explained the independent living option and i am convinced that style is all my parents require at this time. my parents are not inclined to move from Pa to NY, but this setting or a setting like this could make them chg their minds. my sister will make a visit here as well.

When my dad was ehre they seemed to help out more somewhat. Assisted living can be expensive but it just seemed like they were giving more time with him and there was more overall care. From the activities provided he was staying more involved and this was less expensive than the sunrise we were looking at.

We chose the Promenade at Tuxedo Place because it was the best fit for our situation. It is located very close to home so it allows us to be nearby. Everything my mother needed is here. We are very happy with the choice we made and would recommend it.

Karen was very helpful. She gave me an extensive tour. I was very pleased with all the renovations that they were doing. I had been there many years before when it was South Winds and found it very dreary but the upgrades make it a cheerful place.

Like this -- about $3700 per month with meds

It was great, but I believe only for smokers. I do have asthma, and would not last long there. Staff was great, the place is beautiful, and I wish I could have taken it.
