Who are you searching for?
If you’re considering moving your loved one into a Augusta nursing home, our senior living advisors can help. The term “nursing home” is often used interchangeably with assisted living or other senior housing options; but a nursing home is a skilled nursing facility for individuals with serious, debilitating short- or long-term health issues. So even the best nursing homes in Augusta, KS may not be right for seniors who don’t require round-the-clock care.
We can help you determine if a skilled nursing facility in Augusta or another care type is right for you. Browse 7 senior living options near you to see the variety available, or contact us to learn more about elderly homes in Augusta.
Even though Comfort and Love community (just like many others) is really expensive, we are very happy with the genuine care our loved one has been receiving. Most of the care givers there are absolutely wonderful - one of the care givers for our loved one even went out of her way and used her own money to buy a small Valentines Day gift, and helped our loved one make a card for his wife. The facility itself is really nice and clean. Based on our experience we would recommend this community to other families.
They are amazing, we searched high and low for a good facility for 2 years. I popped in at 8 o'clock last night and they were doing a puzzle with him. The nurse is super accommodating and she even brings him meals from home when he does not like the food being served. The staff are always kind and excited to see us when we got to visit, they never have any issue with us coming to visit daily. They truly care about the residents and it really shows. I recommend Ascension Living to everybody who needs this type of care.
The director and staff are very good, however, the quality and the condition of the facility leaves something to be desired. They do have a pending remodel and it does need it, but its still a good facility in my opinion. Communication between the staff and me & my family has been very good. They always get in touch with me, and they usually contact me by phone call. Their memory care unit is all on one floor, and I do feel that Homestead is a safe and secure place for my loved one. The only complaint that anyone could have is on the state of the facility itself, but again they're addressing that. Overall I would recommend Homestead Estates of Wichita to others.
